How do I stop notifications from UC browser related to news and videos?
i have been using UC browser for my android for quite a long time, i noticed that even if i disabled the notification from the UC setting, it’ll always (after awhile) be turned on again for no obvious reason automatically by some kind of magical process. i tried talking to the technical support about this problem multiple times and they said that they will report the issue.i do not see the point on being mad to the technical support bcz i know that they’re only doing their job, and i think that it’s just the way UC do that to gain money, it’s not a bad thing in my opinion but i know it really is annoying.the only way that i know to fix it is to just disable the app notification from your phone settings, but it’ll also disable your download-notification/process which in my opinion is quite vital.what i do is i just force stop the uc app from phone settings, if it still there i’ll check the notification setting in the uc menu to see if it’s turned on again or not.sadly i have not seen any replacement of this app that can fit my use of downloading from itself - or - from other appi really wish they’ll change their way on throwing ads on their users.
