Yes, you can join the Army as a muslim there are plenty of muslims currently in the military and plenty who are doing great things in it. I would recommend since you are only 15 learning the Constitution or getting familiar with it, as that is what you will be defending. On that note America, aside from what people think, is not a one religion country. We are not fighting Muslims, we fight people who threaten us regardless of race, religion, or any other factor. You seem to have your heart in the right place and if it is what you want to do just make sure you know what you are getting into.

A friend of mine is a muslim soldier who was born in Israel/Palestine. She has never had any problems in the military. The only people who have problems (Muslim, Christian, Wicca or anyone) are the people who only talk about their religion all day, want everyone to accommodate them at every turn for every little detail. Example: odds are you won't be able to pray five times a day every day, but you'll be given time when time is available. Military duties always come first in the service. The vast majority of rapes, in the military and in the civilian world are what we call acquaintance rape, or date rape. Meaning the victim knew the rapist. The TV cop show version of rape where a man grabs a girl and pulls her into an alley is very rare by comparison. Know who your friends are, always go out with trustworthy friends and watch each others' backs and don't ever drink more than you can handle. Rape isn't only disrespectful to Muslim families, it's offense the entire human race. The media does like to make a bigger deal when a Soldier rapes another, or commits any crime. It just makes it seem more sensational that way. You will not be permitted to wear a hijab while on duty. You will be wearing a military issue beret when outside (or a camouflage baseball-type hat called a patrol cover when training in the field). You can wear whatever you want when off duty however. Military uniforms are very conservative and cover everything but the hands and the head.
Should I join the marines if I'm Muslim?
I'm not sure if it would be haram for me to join and fight with the marines because I am muslim and I was born in Pakistan. I also don't know if it would just be a bad idea period.

Muslims: will it be haram when I join the army?
My senior year of high school is here and I am meeting with my recruiters for the next few weeks and then in October we discuss everything I need to know to join the armed forces, my medical history, mental status and much more. But as an American born Muslim I've always had a love for country and my military, I've been wanting to be serving in the army or Navy Seals since I was six. My parents are completely fine with it and suggest that I serve my Country, but other Muslims do you object? Am I going against the wishes of Allah and objecting to anything as some would say I'm being hypocritical? What do you think? I will still join the military regardless but what do you think?

While we were fighting Hezbollah at the north, we didn’t do so to protect only the Jews in Israel, when I calling artilery strike on Hezbollah terrorist I damage the ability of his organization to injur any citizen in my country (and while we are at it, also tourists), I’m protecting: Jews, Christans, Arabs, Druz, Badawis, Circassians, Bahá'ís, and yes, even Mulsims (For the googol’th time: IDF protects its Muslims citizens also!).Rockets and bullets can’t separate between religion and skin color, and we are there to make sure it doesn’t get to its target at all.So like there are ultra Orthodox Jews who don’t take a stande for their country, there are Mulsims and Arabs too who don’t defend their country.
