My Account Is Being Accessed From Another Country

Access my yahoo account from other country?

My girlfriend and I share an email yahoo account, recently she moved to Cameroun for a project while I remain in Austria, I can enter into our mail without problem but she hasn´t been able to do it from Cameroun. Have I blocked the account somehow just for Austrian access?

Thanks for your help :)

My Gmail Account was accessed from USA.?

No. You're quite safe. Its just a bit misleading the way Gmail presents the information.

I don't know where you live, but I experience the same thing. I don't think your account is being accessed FROM an IP address in the USA, but THROUGH an IP address in the USA.

You can check the numbers using http://whatismyipaddress.com/ip-lookup or http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm?Ge... and you'll sometimes find it gives a location nearer to where you actually live.

My Gmail Activity Information shows 10 entries right now, spanning 3 different IP addresses in the USA, and I don't live there. I very rarely see an IP address named after the country where I live. It seems to relate to the routing your Internet Service Provider uses to process your internet activity.

My account accessed from Poland?

I found in my locations (More visited) access from Poland. Never been in Poland or even close...

Noticing this, I changed my password and hours later y received an email:

Verify this email address email from Yahoo (it looks legit) but I didn't add nothing! I just changed the password two days ago...

You recently added a new email address to your Yahoo! account, or initiated verification of an existing email address. To verify that you own this email address, simply click on the link below.

If the Yahoo! ID ‎an*************‎ does not belong to you or if you would like to permanently stop receiving messages for this Yahoo! ID at this email address, please let us know.

The email is from Yahoo Inc... and got the purple Y, but it says Yahoo Philippines...

How serious is this???

Does logging in from another country lock yahoo account ?

IF he gave you the correct password, the only time you would be prevented from logging into that account would be if he was logged in at the same time. Location in the world has nothing to do with it - you can access any account anywhere (It is the world-wide web, and we travelers can log into our accounts anywhere with internet access.)
Perhaps there is a trust issue, since he made such a big deal of it?

I’m going to another country and won't have access to my phone number. How can I receive 2-step verification codes for my Google, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and Viber accounts?

Definitely take a page out of these answers here! Disabling two-step-verification is a simple process and shouldn’t take up much of your time. If, however, you’re worried about your account security so much that you can’t or you just don’t want to disable it, then you should also be able to change the number you’re using for these accounts.Just do it while you’re still in your own country/city/town where you can use your “main” number, and change it to a virtual number that you can buy for the country you’re going to. There are plenty of providers out there that you can find with a quick Google search, and some of them might even have sales going on.

Can a Netflix account be shared across countries? I'm in Germany, and I wish to share with someone in the UK, India, and Germany. Will all parties be able to access content available to their respective countries, or just the country I am in?

Netflix works based on where you are physically present, whether your account is German or Indian. VPNs don’t normally work, so you’re stuck with whatever your country’s Netflix has to offer. I believe it would therefore be the same with a shared account, to each their own shows. If you travel though, you can watch other Netflixes and also save some episodes to watch when you get back. But they will eventually expire. However, it’s definitely possible to share an account with people from other countries. If you want to binge-watch specific shows, you can always check out whether they are on your home Netflix before getting an account.

Does facebook warn you if your account was accessed from a different computer?

... I mean can you tell if someone else logged in to your account from a different computer even if they didn't make any changes? And is it possible for two different people to be using the same facebook account at the same time?
