My Ankle Has A Strange Stabbing Pain But Only When I Walk

Sharp Pain in Ankle when relaxing?

Im 24 years old and I have gout in left foot attacks are about 5-7 months apart and when I do get an attack it hurts like driving a nail in my foot over and over.

Just recently about 3 weeks ago I got an attack it lasted roughly 6 days I used an ankle brace a boot that a doctor gave me, and a Cane to walk around and I couldnt put any weight on it. now 2 weeks later the attack subsided now when I relax before bed or when I relax on the couch I move my left ankle ever so slightly and I get a REALLY sharp pain in the back part of the ankle from the heel to almost the top of the muscle I think is the Achilles tendon forward to the ball of the ankle. I was wondering if I should be worried.

Random Throbbing/Stabbing Pain in my Elbows, Knees, and Ankles?

I am 19 years old. Since I was about 11, I have experienced occasional and random pain in my elbow, knee, and/or ankle. I had always described it as feeling like lightning. It lasts only a moment at a time, but can be all day long. I have to pause, not put pressure on or use whatever is currently hurting. Originally we thought that it might have been growing pains, but I stopped growing at age 13. Any ideas? It's not arthritis; I don't have swelling, stiffness, headaches, or fevers; it's just the one area hurting.

I almost twisted my ankle....twice and now i have this weird pain?

Your alright,

Weird things happen when you twist/sprain anything.

I sprained my wrist and now it makes this weird cracking noise whenever I rotate it a certain way, same with both my ankles.

Dont worry you'll be fine :D

My mom won't believe me that I sprained my ankle! HELP!OW?

rest it on a pillow or something at home. when u told ur mom, have u been maintaining a serious look? if u haven't, look her in the EYE and tell her, "Mom, my ankle REALLY hurts so can you PLEASE take me to the doctor or something? Otherwise something worse might happen and I might bug you even more." If that doesn't work, (oh god it should...) this is time 2 get sympathy the bad way. DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. seriously, i feel guilty just as i'm about to say this. if she's just putting u down, and u feel really frustrated, just cry. just cry. i know ur probably thinking that u can't cry on cue, but believe me, it isn't that hard. see, it's not exactly ON CUE, it's just when u can't take it anymore.

brown dots? it might be something more serious if there's a large number of them...

hope i helped!

Stabbed myself in the thumb accidentally, weird pain with it?

I was dishwashing at home and a knife i was washing slipped out of my hand as i went to catch it the blade landed pointing straight down into my thumb. It didn't go deep and didn't bleed much either. I've stabbed or cut or slashed myself accidentally a lot, and the weird thing about this one was it felt more of a burning sensation. For the past 2 or 3 days my thumb has been sore when folding over itself and stretching it out too. The knife landed on the palm-side of the middle joint, and when i push down on it it's still pretty sore. I'm wondering what the knife hit when it went in (Not paranoid or anything more curious) Is there a tendon placed there? or maybe the knife scratched the bone..I'm not sure. Anyone know? And please no obvious answers :P educated guesses are ok....As long as they are educated.

My ankle feels locked as if it wants to pop but it just won't pop?

I woke up and all of a sudden my ankle felt weird and sort of stiff as if it wanted to pop and when this happens it usually pops in a few minutes of walking...no luck, so i went to go skate and it felt weird but no pain. got home that night and it kept bothering me so i tried popping it but it wouldn't pop in that right relieving way.... so then i woke up and now my ankle is all locked up and i can barely move it and its starting to swell..... i didn't have an injury i sort of just woke up with this, i can walk without pain but when i bend down i just can't physically. it just feels like my ankle is slightly out of place...any way to pop it back?
