My best friend's friend hates me?
Well - my friend Yasmin has this friend (she's in year nine, I think. She's one of Yasmin's relative's mates), Tia. Tia has been horrible to me from the start. It wasn't too bad at first. Maybe she elbowed my out of their games a little or walked ahead with my friends without me...but it was nothing too serious - right? Then, when I was included in their stuff, it just wasn't right. She mostly ignored me when my friends were around, but when they weren't, she'd hiss to me: 'They don't want to be your friend; deal with it, they don't want you.' Or if me and my friends started a game, she'd be like, 'Katya can be the slave. Katya, move. Katya, get out of the way, Katya, go away.' Katya katya katya - while they got fun parts, like being posh ladies (uck) or the leaders. I was stuck. Stuck stuck stuck. Being the slave. Then, it just started getting ridiculous. She'd sometimes go up to me at school (what, can't you say it when I'm with my friends, Tia?) and say: 'Yasmin and (so and so) don't want to be your friends anymore', and walk away. I'm not stupid. I knew she was making it up. Then the BIG stuff happened. One time, I was waiting after-school outside of the gates, and she came up to me. 'Yasmin and (so and so) have already gone, Katya. Just go.' Now, there's something I just felt in me - she's lying. I knew it. Because five minutes later, Yasmin walked out of the school gates and came up to me. A day ago, on the park, me and some friends were on the swings. Tia pushed me, but soon said, 'I can't you're too fat', which sent my blood boiling as I'm not fat (under 84 pounds 12 year old). And later on, she said, 'let me have a go, you've been on ages' on the swing. Which is INFURUATING as I'd arrived about 10 minutes late on the park. She swore and kept saying, 'Katya, get off the f****** swing!' Then I lost it. 'ALRIGHT!' I hissed, yanked myself off the swing. I got up, yanked my coat off the ground, and threw it over my shoulder. I stamped off, leaving a murmer behind me. What should I do?? I've tried to tell my friends but they won't do anything. Tia has also been calling me a slag behind my back to my friends (bad more Tia; they've told me. By the way, I'm not a slag, I've only been out with one boy this year - and I'm not even with him anymore) which has made me angry and hurt. I want to slap her smug face. I'm not breaking friends with my friends just because of HER. Please help?

In school about 2 days ago, I told on my friend, Kelsey. I told the teacher that she was down at the lockers when she wasn't supposed to be. After that, I felt bad, and I told my best friend, Alex. (he's a dude) Alex is in LOVE with Kelsey, but they can't be together, long story. Anyways, he got mad, and told me that he was going to tell her. Well, I decided to make up a lie and say, "If you tell her, I'll tell her what you said about her and her boyfriend." He got mad, knowing it was a lie, and stormed off. I told Kelsey about how I told on her. She was completely fine with it. She didn't even care. Alex, on the other hand, ignores me and refuses to talk to me. He finally texted me today, after I kept calling him over the past day and a half. He said, "Hey, I like you, but I don't want to be friends with you anymore. You cause too much drama and you lie all the time. Maybe we can be friends someday, but I'm not promising anything." I got frantic, and texted back asking him to let me fix this, that it is fixable and he said, "Idk..." and never texted back after that. I don't know what my problem is I can't leave him alone. Monday is the next day I see him, and I have 2 classes with him, one I sit right next to him in the same 2 seated desk. My friend Kelsey told me that he will probably get over it. I don't know if he will... I love that kid to death, and I would do anything for him. I would change my whole personality for that kid, if I could. Should I wait it out and leave him alone, to let him get over it by himself? Should I talk to him on monday? Should I go to his house tomorrow and beg for forgiveness, or a second chance? What should I do? I can't even think straight right now, I'm just so upset. Please help. Thank you in advance.

2 years ago when i was your age i was in the same position as you, and my friends were the same type as yours too, like my amy acted better than me etc. and i was jealous too. 3 really is a crowd, and its a bad uneven number. i ended up losing michelle. that was the worst year for me, it wass like i lost a part of myself, of course amy was happy because she got michelle all to her self, and i made new friends, i went through a stage of hating amy, but now we are friends again, i dont trust her and shes not a close friend or anything but i still enjoy hanging with her occassionally. how ever things between michelle and me have been different ever since then, we didnt talk for a year and this year she came crying to me saying how much i impacted on her life and missed me, i guess it was my ignorance and fear of getitng hurt that i didnt know how to go about things so we barely talk and when we do its really general. michelle was the closest friend i'd ever had we had such a good connection, and i still think about it often, school has just finished, but im thinking of talking to her, perhaps we could be friends agian. although, i do have 2 new best freinds who dont know each other, and that works well, because it makes me and them happy. So i guess the choice is yours now, maybe invite some other friends into the group of you 3 so its numbered evenly, or sacrifice a friendship and get new friends but still keep in contact with the others.

Your best friend hates you ??Are you serious ?Best friend & hate these two can never stay together. If a person hates you how can you call him/her your best friend ??? At the same time if he/she is your best friend no matter what the situation is, he/she won't hate you ever. You need to clarify this thing first.In case the other person is behaving weird or rude from sometime, give them space maybe they'll be having problems due to which they're behaving like that. On the other hand if you are sure that the other person hates you, there's no such best friend thing b/w you guys !Hope this helps !

Listen, people are fickle but they are also forgiving. Most people would say to give her space, but that won't work for the type of person that she sounds like. You need to be persistent. Continue telling her how sorry you are. Tell her that your friendship means more to you than a stupid fight. If she won't come around after all of those things then she was never your best friend. People can be cruel, some are worth fighting for. Ultimately, there is a time when there is nothing more you can do. Try until you reach that point. I wish you the best of luck, my friend.

I do not know your age but you have simply answered your own question. If you have attempted to discuss and mend this friendship and had no positive outcome then please for yourself let this go. I held on to a friendship I am a caring person. I never knew this person hated me and was basically ruining me and even to the point of messing with my jobs my reputation and I can not say all that was at her hand. Years of trying to figure out what was happening as she sat and listened to me upset. You find new friends because friends which will be very few real ones in life will not treat you this way. Also do not focus on friends you focus on you and your life the rest will work itself out. I wish I had known but I worked my whole life only at an age I figured I would never see this behavior did it reveal itself. Not normal you deserve better.
