My best friend is moving away?!?
A few months ago my very best friend moved away. It was heartbreaking for the both of us and I felt like my world was crashing down around me.. She was and will always be the closest person to me. I thought that goodbye meant the end.. but it didn't.. the distance made our friendship stronger, we text all day everyday and continue to tell each other everything. We count down the days until our next visit and when we do see each other its like nothing has even changed.. We talk so much we don't have anything to catch up on and we just do the things we used to do and we are so happy. I recommend staying in touch, you'd be surprised at how easy it is to stay close over distance.. No one will ever take her place in your heart or your place in hers. Before we moved we spent a week together just the two of us and we tried not to think about her leaving and instead focused on having the best time together when she was here. We have also have a lot of songs we listen to when we are missing the other really bad.. try and have a going away song.. some good ones are: See you when I see you - jason aldean, no place that far - sarah evans, i won't let go - rascall flatts, counting down the days - natalie imbruglia, my old friend - tim mcgraw, think of me - dear john soundtrack.. Distance will never separate two hearts that really care, and when you are really missing her, remember how lucky you are to have something that great to miss. Best of luck.

The world’s a big place, put travel is cheaper and more practicable than it’s ever been. Your relationship doesn’t need to come to an end just because someone moves overseas. I’ve got friends all over the world.I’m from Scotland. 44 years ago I met a girl in Canada. Three years later we married, living first of all in Canada and later in Scotland. During the three years between our first meeting and our marriage she was in Canada while I was in Scotland (a long way away), in Western Canada (much further away) and in the USA ( a thousand miles away). One of my grandchildren lives in China. Another two have an African father. Last year I worked in three different European countries. in Asia and in North America and had brief vacations visiting family in China and in Canada.Travel’s easy. WhatsAp and WeChat mean that friends and relations around the world are involved in even the most minor things of life in a way that was never possible before.

Be her friend just like you are doing now dont go and try to make new bffs because youll never find someone that way and dont hang out with people you have to be fake around because then what is the point? why would you want to be someone you are not? dont go to that level just keep in contact and call eachother and on school breaks plan to hang out! you never know this may make your friendship stronger trust me ive been friends with my bff and then after high school he moved away to washington but i still keep in contact and when either of us get vacation we make it a point to see eachother .. so dont worry its not the end of the world .. it just may feel that way for now ... maybe when she leaves join a club or sport or get a hobby you may find that someone in one of those can be a good friend but stay away from acting fake people who are genuinly your friend will like you for who you are!

hello , I m crying my eyes out right now I cant breath I think I m having a panic attack , my only friend is moving half way across the world , and I m so upset , I have no friends in school , I cant make any new friends because they all have their friend groups I m going to be alone , when the teacher says pick a partner I m going to have no one , I cant stop crying shes my only friend in school , I don t know what to do I m thinking of running away when she leaves because no one likes me so why not , my parents don t care they think I m being a drama queen but I m not I m honestly soooo hurt I know it will make her happy and I m happy for her . sometimes I just think of killing myself because I mean whats the point go to college get some degree work for the next 50 years fun ( sarcastic) I m at peace when I rest so why not , ( I m 15) , I just cant deal with being alone for the next 2 years anyone got any ideas PLEASE HELP ME

Face the eventuality. One is destined to leave at sometime anyway. Rejoice the happy times you have spent together and recall them from the memory to cherish, and to not to despair. Today, you have very good facilities to keep, maintain and nourish your contact with your friend over several communication mediums available. Please utilise them as much as possible, at your mutual convenience and inclination.Accept the eventuality and move on. Develop another friendship if necessary and if you want to. Develop a constructive habit and nourish it. Develop passion for something and plunge in to it. You have a million choices to keep you engaged and not feel lonely.
How to deal with your best friend moving away?
So, my best friend in the entire world is moving away. We're cousins and we've been inseperable since we were born. Everyone that knows us knows that we're always together, no matter what. We're 14 now and our dream has always been going to highschool together but now we might never be able to. So I guess I'm just asking for advice...? It's been hard because she's like my sister, we do everything together. We hang out every day and share clothes and everything... I don't know how I would live with her gone. I'm kind of afraid she'd find a new best friend...
