My Cat Ozzy Is Acting Really Odd Since We Moved

Cat acting weird after moving to a new house. Will he be ok?

My cat Edwin is my best friend and I am a little concerned. I just moved back in with my parents today, and he hasnt gone to explore the house at all. He was exploring around my room for maybe an hour or so, and he would walk around, and then he tried to jump up on the window, but fell because he didnt realize that my parents windows dont have a place for him to perch. Then he had a run in with my stepdads cat and he was very agitated and hisses and growls whenever she is near, and she tried to fight him. I have kept them apart since then, and he has a separate litter box and food in my room. What I am concerned about is he is acting strange. Not like himself. he isnt eating anything, unless I give it to him once piece at a time, and when I put him next to his litterbox to remind him that he can use it, he hisses (and he NEVER hisses at me)

he is just laying on my bed next to me sleeping, he lets me pet him and all that, but he just isnt moving around, eating, using his box, which is unlike him because he doesnt lounge around much.

My mom thinks that he is scared of the new place he is in, and only feels safe on the bed.

Anything I should do to make him feel better? or just give him time? I am also worried because he has had accidents (pee on bed, poo on carpet) before, im a little worried he will forget to use his box.

I just moved into a new house and my dog is acting strange...?

We just moved into a house into a different city, from which my dog was used to apartments since she was about 3 months old. She now has a big yard to roam and play in, but its been a week and she is oddly calm and quiet. She has never barked much, but her playfulness has diminished since we got here...not the same bundle of energy as normal.... Could this be her adjusting to the new surroundings? there are a number of other dogs in the neighborhood as well..... Anything helps.....Thanks in advance!

Does high-functioning schizophrenia exist?

I had a friend who was a schizophrenic and when he was on his medication he was little different from anyone else. He held a job (he worked as a contractor writing software), lived independently, and the only real outward indication that there was something wrong with him was due to the side-effects of his medicine, which were pretty nasty — they caused him to have a number of tics as well as feeling a frequent need to pace. His illness took its toll in another way, however — he was convinced (at least this was his claim) that his unmedicated state was reality and that the medicines merely altered reality as part of a plot by his doctor, his ex-wife, the police, etc. to keep him controlled and prevent him from seeing his kids. So, eventually he would always stop taking his medication, his condition would deteriorate, he would withdraw (presumably so people couldn’t see what was happening to him) and as he got less and less capable of coping with his situation, he would eventually show up at is ex-wife’s house demanding to see his kids (violating a court order), he would get arrested, committed and put back on his meds, ready to begin the cycle anew.

My talent show is coming up, and I want to do something memorable. I would like a something nice, but nothing pop (i.e. Fergie, Hannah Montana). Please help me! I only have 5 days!
