My daughter is stupid... what do I do?

Have you ever had to speak to the principal at your child's school?
Sorry to be laughing- at the time can’t say it was really funny- but did I EVER- between those two kids I got called in probably once a month. The worst was that I foolishly after one meeting agreed to have this one teacher give me every Friday evening a ‘wrap.’ Inevitably I’d forget and answer the phone- only to hear- D oc tor Daaaannnn in what felt like at least 30 seconds and I’d mouth “SHIT” and punch the sofa. Once it was reported that Jason found a pizza in the hallway- (?) and so he took it up to a balcony area and proceeded to throw pieces at his friends’ heads as they entered the cafeteria. Now, as I later said to Jason- “just what am I supposed to say to that? Are you completely insane?”No, sorry mom-always dumb stupid ADHD stuff. Right before he was supposed to graduate they called me in to a meeting- now this wasn’t the principal- the ‘team’ in fact the principal was sympathetic and had some humor They told me Jason and his friends skipped gym and there was a possibility he wouldn’t graduate. I look around the room- “Where is he?” Oh, they reply- he chose not to attend- ‘YOU TELL HIM I SAID TO GET DOWN HERE NOW!”He enters with a baseball hat backwards- which I flipped off his head- I too was a principal at the time to far tougher and badder kids than he and I didn’t let them wear ‘rebellious styled hats either!’ So on and on we go- then another agreement- “mom he says in the hall- they’re going to graduate me- don’t worry.” Well if that’s the case why do I have to come here Jason?I will never forget it- the ‘playing field’ was across the street from the high school building- and we ended the meeting with the knowledge that gym would be starting next period. I pull out of the driveway and happened to glance back at the school- weren’t he and his buddies getting in a car to skip gym and go out to lunch?”Screaming out the window as the true madwoman I’d become- YOU GUYS GO TO GYM. They look- “Yo MZ Dann what’s up?” They weren’t being rude to me- for one thing they hadn’t heard of the threat meeting- but also smiled genuinely happy to see me!He graduated-is employed has graduate degree- in other words- he’s fine- don’t think I’ve recovered.The daughter was worse- but that’s another story so yes- I most definitely attended my share of those meetings.
Why is my daughter so stupid?
My daughter is 16-years-old and is incapable of tying her shoes or telling time. She cannot solve math problems in her head (ie, it takes awhile to solve 169+17 in her head), it takes her a long time to answer questions, she is very bad at directions and does not know how to get around town, she forgets information easily, she has troubles with putting a key in a lock, she has poor hand-eye coordination, and it takes her a long time do assignments for school. I love her very much and all, but she is just so stupid. I'm a very intelligent guy who has a PhD, and my wife is intelligent as well, so I am just wondering why my daughter is so stupid.
MY DAUGHTER GOT SUSPENDED!?
OK,So this is what happened. On Monday,I get a phone call from Kristens principal saying Kristen got into a fight with this girl and is suspended.This is what happened.Kristen was in gym and had to do this "Jump Rope for Heart".Kristen tripped and accidently hit this girl with the jumprope.The girl got mad and took the jumprope and hit Kristen in the back with it.She has a welp about 4 inches long on her back from this.Kristen walked away and went into the locker room to get dressed.This girl follows Kristen in and says out loud,Where is that little ***** at.Again,Kristen tries to ignore her and walks away.While Kristen is turned toward her gym locker,this girl punches Kristen in the back of the head.Kristen turns around and punches the girl back and tries to walk away again.Then this girl pushes Kristen on the floor and starts hitting her.The other girls stopped the fight and they both get sent to the office.I dont beleive this was fair because Kristen tried to walk away several times.I went up to the school and told them what I thought.They said Kristen hit her back and thats why she got suspended also. So,I guess they believe she was supposed to stand there and let this girl punch her over and over again without defending herself.I dont think this is fair at all.And Im pissed. So basically,theres really nothing I can do.This is really frustrating knowing my child cant even go to school without being attacked and not defending herself without being suspended.For those who really dont know Kristen,my daughter,Shes 12 and in the 6th grade.Shes a gifted child and Im not just saying that.She makes straight A's.She got the presidental award last year for her grades.Her I-Step test,She got a 99% over the U.S.!Shes in orchestra,plays the violin.She is the type to give her favorite blanket to a homeless person on the street.And she doesnt like violence at all.Everybody that knows Kristen,knows Kristen is not a fighter. What do you think?Am I just over reacting on this?
My teacher basically calls me stupid?
My class had to do a short story. My teacher said that we had to do a rough draft, then write the report. After we turned in our rough draft, she would take us aside and say what mistakes we have to fix, etc. When she took me and told me what I had to fix, she said that my story was to professional and I had probably copied it from someone. So she basically called me a liar, unprofessional, and in a way she called me stupid because she said I could never write a story like that. I am really hurt that my teacher thinks so lowly of me. What should I do?
My dad called me stupid? Help?
Well about two months ago I got a detention for saying something bad about another student. They contacted my dad (i dont have a mom). They also gave me a paper for my dad to sign. Well I forgot to guve it to him (about detention) and when i got to school i realized i forgot so I just signed his signature myself because I didn't want to get suspended or else he would be super mad. Well this morning I picked up my backpack and i didnt know it was unzipped so everything fell out. My dad saw the paper and in the car he yelled at me and called me stupid. I think that is mental abuse so cant he get arrested? I told him how i forgot to give it to him to sign. At school i told the councilor. She said she would call him and tell him I didnt feel safe and wanted to go to my grandparents. I just got home and he said he called and told the principle that I forged the signature and that the principle would talk to me tomorrow. I have been crying all day please what do i do?
What would you do if a teacher called your child stupid?
My 5 year old daughter, Emily, came home yesterday and said that her new teacher (she's in Kindergarten this year and her first teacher went on maternity leave) called her stupid when she was asked who the president of America is (we live in Australia so I don't think it's expected of her to know it when she's only 5). I called the teacher up about it and she said that Emily had gotten it wrong and what she actually said was that her answer was stupid, I asked how a 5 year old would know the difference and she was basically calling her stupid anyway, I couldn't get the teacher to admit it though, Emily doesn't want to go to school anymore because she got embarassed being called stupid in front of the class. What would you do? And is there anything else I should do? Thanks in advance :)
