My default sending account stays the same even though i changed it. It keeps using my primary email address.?

WhatsApp actually backs it up automatically; I reset my iPhone the other day after installing iOS 11 Beta. I didn't back anything up, nothing on WhatsApp, nothing on iOS at all. I decided to let iOS become a clean slate for me.Once I downloaded WhatsApp, I remembered I had some pretty important messages that were probably gone by now, thanks to me not backing it up. Luckily, it had an automatic backup saved from 8pm the night before, restoring pretty much all my chats and media not sent/received within the last 24 hours.So, if you have a backup, yes, you can restore your messages and media. If not, check anyway - WhatsApp may have enabled automatic backups for you. If there’s no automatic backup, unfortunately there’s nothing you can do to recover the messages.Hope this helps!
For the most part the "last active" notification for a given Facebook user in Facebook Messenger is totally bogus/irrelevant. I've researched this topic out of simple curiosity.Believe it or not people have actually ended long-term relationships based on that simple notification, believing their significant-other was ignoring them or worse yet seeing other people behind their backs. Like when a person is asleep while their phone is charging.People who would breakup over such things without giving their loved one the benefit of the doubt aren't really grownup enough for adult relationships in the first place.
