I think I have pink eye....?
Today I woke up with a lot of 'sleep' on my eyes. The majority of the sleep was on my left eye, but my right eye is red in a few areas. It doesn't hurt at all! I have had a couple tear like things draining from the corner of my eye. I went to school, because I didn't know if I actually had pink eye. People asked me why my eyes were bloodshot, but I thought it was because I didn't get much sleep last night. My friend just had pink eye, so it is starting to spread around the grade. I am about to go to a football game in an hour and a half (don't tell me not to go, because im going for sure). I was wondering if I could put Clear Eyes triple action relief in my eyes just so the redness would be relieved. Please answer, and fast! Thank you so much.

Only half of my right eye is pink, it looks like it may be pink eye but it doesn't hurt or itch. And it's been like this for a week now! Yes I wear contacts but this has never happened to me before. I don't think it's pink eye because it doesn't hurt at all, but it does look like it. And it almost looks like it's getting bigger... Someone please help!

No, not pink eye. I had it years ago. My eye ran constantly, it hurt and itched almost at an uncontrollable level. I kept washing it out with saline, but it didn't help for long. It felt as if there were sand in my eye -- very itchy sand. I woke up each morning I had it with my eye glued shut from the constant watering. It's very, VERY annoying!!! There would be no doubt in your mind. It sounds like you're having allergy issues. Spring has sprung where I live (on the Gulf Coast), and I'm not sure about your area. It's probably pollen -- trees, flowers, etc. That's a common Springtime allergy. Try some allergy eye drops. I don't recommend Visine -- it actually messes with the capillaries in your eyes and shrinks them. Doesn't seem healthy to me. Good luck!
Pink Eye? Please help!?
oooh. i HATE pink eye. I got it in college. It's horribly contagious. The most telling sign is if your eye is bloodshot and if it leaks. You'll know what I mean by leaking if you really have it. When you wake up, it'll be crusted shut. Really gross. But the bloodshot is a key indicator. "Swollen ring"? like around the outside? Bloodshot, I mean the whites of your eye is red-veiny. I'm not sure about the home remedies like rubbing a gold ring in your eye or putting baby shampoo in your eye. If you really have pink eye, you need to get a prescription and get the eye drops. WASH your hands! don't touch your eyes! Good luck! i hope you don't have it!
My eye is really red but doesn't hurt?
About a week ago I remembered rubbing my eye hard while wearing my contacts and when I was going to take them off I noticed my iris was lined with a very red ring that spreads around my eye which made it look really pink. I didn't wear my contacts for a day and was alright for the rest of the week until now,(7 days later) becuase I rubbing it hard again. It feels slightly itchy but doesn't hurt, and instead of the red ring like last time the whole eye is just pink. Eye drops aren't helping. What worries me is that it got red again in such a short amount of time. I don't have pink eye becuase there is no crust and becuase it left and came back. Is it infected? It doesn't seem like it.... And if it's irritated why won't the red leave? Help?

I would definitely make an appointment with your doctor to let him know the problems you are having. One last quick question have you been washing your hands throughly especially before touching your eye. If not you could be reinfecting your eye.
