My Face Burns When Applying Foundation On

My face burns when applying foundation on?

A month ago I got this oil free and epiduo lotions for my face (to get rid of acne) from a dermatologist. This summer I haven't been wearing make up much maybe like 5 times. Now my cheek area is pretty pink and when I apply foundation my cheeks burn. Also it looks very flaky and I hate it. I put moisturizer before applying. Any tips? Btw, these foundations didn't do this to me before. So I'm not allergic. And my face also burns when I take off my make up with make up remover wipes. Help!

My face burns after putting on foundation?

I think your face, especially your cheeks may be dry. Try cleansing, toning and moisturizing and then putting on foundation. If it still Burns then nothing is wrong with your cheeks, somethings wrong with your foundation. Maybe you are allergic to an ingredient in it or it has expired.

And don't feel guilty☺️ Ok, you may have sensitive skin...OR you may have irritated your skin with a harsh cleanser. Skincare is INCREDIBLY important for your foundation to look it's best. If you have a subpar skincare regiment, your foundation will look no better than subpar. With oily skin, it's really important to not try and battle it with drying it out. If your skin feels tight and dry after you cleanse your face, toss it. It's not for you. Purity by philosophy is a really great cleanser for all skin types. Also find a light weight moisturizer. A good one is take a deep breath by philosophy or first aid beauty's ultimate repair lotion (not cream).Tarte is a really good line for sensitive skin, so if that is really the issue at hand, try cover fx mattifying primer or tarte's smoothing primer. Smoothing primers are good for oily skin because oily skin goes hand in hand with large pores--hence, the desire for smoother skin. All of these products should be available at all sephoras--free standing and inside jcpenny. Get samples of all these from Sephora. They are free. Can you put foundation on a burn?

I was really stupid and i burned myself right on my face while curling my hair. now there's a dumb red mark there and it's really embarrassing to have to explain to everyone how it happened. So i was wondering if anyone knows if it would be bad to put foundation over it or if i should just leave it as is.

Concealer burning on my skin after second application? Why?

Today, I was applying my makeup, and unfortunately, the eyeliner I chose to wear ran down my lower lash line, so I was forced to take off my concealer, foundation, and powder under my eyes. I use neutrogena makeup pads to remove my makeup. When I went to apply my concealer again (only a dab under my eyes) it burned immensely. I could not understand why. I tried to wash my face in cold water and pat a cold rag under my eyes, but it still did not help. The concealer still burned as I was blending it under my eyes.

Why did this happen?

SN: It was Maybelline's FitMe concealer/foundation/powder set. And finally I washed all of it off and used my clinique concealer and powder and such, and everything was fine. No burning.

My mac foundation kinda makes my skin burn..?

Hey.
Mac has great makeup, but they use harsh chemicals. If you're a teenager, then putting those harsh chemicals on your face is going to give you an allergic reaction (like burning skin)

Yes you should return it. If it's gonna be uncomfortable, don't waste good money on it!

You should try Sephora's bare minerals. I've heard some great things about it =)
