Fingers numb from a burn?
Ok i was wielding in AG class a few days ago, i wasnt thinking and grabbed some hot metal after its been cut >.<. Anyhow my fingers turned white a little bit (the tips where i touched it) then it blistered up... it was numb at first but i thought it would go away after i popped the blister. Now its been a few days and i popped the blister and its healed for the most part but my fingers still feel a bit numb, kinda like you have tape over your fingers, i can feel with them but they feel numbed.. Any idea if I will get feeling back in them or what to do to fix it?
Burned my finger, not sure how bad it is?
I just burned my finger about 10 minutes ago because I picked up a hot wood burning tool by the metal part that I didn't realize was on. It didn't hurt that much at first, and I immediately ran over to run it under cold water. I ran it under water for about 10 mins. If I leave it under the water it feels fine, but as soon as I stop it starts to hurt like hell. I think it might be 3rd degree, it's not like I burned through my entire finger and it's gushing blood, but it's definitely white. At first it was just yellow, so I couldn't tell if that was from the tool or the burn color. But now it's definitely white. I know you're supposed to go get bad burns treated, I just don't know how bad it is/if I should wait, etc. It's only about 3/4" around, so even if that's 3rd degree would I really need to go to the doctor for something so small? And if not, what should I do to treat it at home? As of now the burn is white-ish (before it was just yellow, now it's white/off white i guess. not like the typical super white and black and flaky that I picture a bad 3rd degree burn to be) and it's yellow/dark drown in places around the edge. I can still see my fingerprint except in the very center where its completely smooth. it eels really hard when I rub my fingers together, kind of like I have a large dry dead patch of skin, you know? And it hardly hurts at all under cold running water, but hurts like hell when I stop (which, could potentially be problematic seeing as how I cant stand with my hand under a sink all day).
How do I stop the burning from a burn to my fingers?
I was cooking and liftef the lid and got burnt on my fingers from the stem.The burning hurts and I need relief any ideas on some home remedies to stop the burning.The burn does not need medical attention its just a minor burn.
Can i pop the burn blister i have on my finger?
I wouldn't. I popped a blister from a burn and the pain came back from the burn, it was like I had burnt myself again. But in general you shouldn't pop blisters unless they are going to pop on their own (like on the sole of your foot) The fluid inside and the skin protect and heal the burn under the skin. Its a natural bandaid.
White line from possible burn on finger?
Assuming the discoloration is from a burn, both in the past and the most recent, it sounds to me like a it is a scar from the injury. Outside of using a make-up of some sort I am not too sure if there is any other remedy. If it is a scar then that area of your skin does not have either as much or any melanin or pigment. When a skin cell(s) lose pigmentation it shows up white. There maybe some topical creams available, but again I believe the solution is more of a cosmetic nature than a cure.
What are some natural remedies for a burnt finger?
I found this remedy online several years ago and was amazed at how well it worked when my son was in agony with a burnt finger. Put aluminium foil on the burn. It may hurt a little more at first but the pain will soon subside if not disappear completely. I hope this helps you!

I burnt my finger really bad! Please help?
Me and my friend were straightening our hair, and I picked up the wrong end of the straightener and burned my pointer finger, and a little bit of my middle finger. I have a few questions for you.... 1) When should it feel better, and how do I make it feel better? 2) Will I lose feeling in my finger? (I have a friend who burned the top of her hand when she was a kid, and its a scar, and she can't feel it.. I'm a bit scared) 3) I quickly took my hand off it, so what type of burn could it be? Please no stupid answers! Its not a joke, and it hurts really bad. I'm worried. Please answerr!

I was 14 years old and at home with my best friend and my crush, with no adults around. I was wearing an oversized sweater that brushed my knees and spandex leggings.Even back then, I loved to cook.This particular day I was boiling cocktail wieners to go with the sauce I had improvised (basically it was a mix of mayo, ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish, but hey - I was proud of it!).As I was taking the pan of boiling water off the stove to drain the weenies, my left hand went numb and I dropped the pan of water. Reflexively, I shot my left leg out to ‘catch’ the pan.Result - boiling water went down the inside of my left thigh. From about an inch below my groin to an inch above my knee.And the stretchy, comfy leggings just soaked up the boiling water and held it there.I howled. I dropped to the floor crying.My best friend tried to strip the leggings off me but I wouldn’t allow it - my crush was right there!Together they carried me to my bedroom, where she carefully removed the leggings.The fibers had fused with my skin for a swath that was about four inches high and two inches wide. She wound up getting a pitcher of cold water and pouring it onto my leg as she peeled off the fabric.It was hell.I had a huge blister that oozed and throbbed and hurt like a mad sonofabitch for about two months.Being burned is just about the worst pain I can imagine.I’d rather have my two front teeth knocked out by an ill-advised piggyback ride.
