Hauppauge HD PVR with Super Nintendo?
So I'm trying to use my Hauppauge HD PVR to record my Super Nintendo software; but when I hook everything up correctly, the audio is extremely sketchy and skips, as does the video. I have been using the Hauppauge HD PVR for over two years now, but only now have I tried using the Super Nintendo. The front panel is fine on my Hauppauge, because I used it for my Xbox 360 in both Component and Composite form, and the output was perfectly fine. (Using both the back and the front panels, respectively.) Thus, the Hauppauge is working just fine. The output on my television while hooked up to the SNES is also fine. The only problem is on my computer screen, and the audio being produced; both are very sketchy. I tried using every variation of format settings there was available, as well as fully updating the drivers and Total Media Extreme software. Any ideas? It makes zero sense for the composite cables to work for one system, but not another. The Hauppauge HD PVR is supposed to be able to record every system. Thanks to anyone who can help. =]

You are looking for a PVR, I assume. A really solid one is the Hauppauge 1212 HD PVR. On Amazon it runs $189. Secondly, you will need a mic. I've heard several good things about this one: It's called the snowball and it runs about $99. You will also need a video editor and audio editor. For video, I recommend Sony Vegas Platinum 11. Audacity is a free open source program that allows you to do this. Just Google it and it'll pop up. It's super simple. Just start recording with your PVR on your TV and record audio with Audactiy. Find some way to sync it up in post. (Most people jump while saying "Jump" into the mic.) When you import your video and audio into the editor, line up the audio saying "Jump" with the jump and it puts your audio in the right place with the video. Export and upload. To generate UID number(Aadhaar Number), one has enroll himself at the nearest enrollment center from where he would get the enrollment receipt. After the data packets ( generated by the operator) have been sent to the higher authorities the person can check his UID through his enrollment number, if it is generated. Normally it takes 1–2 weeks, if all goes well and in some cases it may take around one month due to demographic/location/duplicate record issues.
