Why was turpentine used on cuts?
It's an antiseptic & it acts as a stiptic agent (stopping the bleeding).
Dog being ate alive by fleas. I tried everything..?
I recently posted a question asking what can I use to get rid of fleas. I got some good answers yet nothing is working. I've had failed attempts with armor pets and frontline plus for my 13 lb shih tzu. Someone mentioned I should go to vet and see if they can prescribe me a pill that would cure it. DID IT! I was assured by the vet that they no longer carry frontline and similiar products because it doesnt work all the time. This 1 pill would get rid of all fleas including ticks and existing eggs after 30 minutes of use for 1 entire month. Its been 2 days and my dog continues to be bitten by these fleas. His skin in bloody at times for all the scratching and biting he caused himself. Its beyond frustrating because these products cause money. More money that continues to go down the drain along with vet visit fees. Have you ever had a similiar problem and how did u overcome it? also i do not have carpet in my home.

She's not stupid, try do to some reasearch. Have you been in an abusice relationship for a long period of time? I know whats its like have been through it my self as well as my mother. Most women don't realize when t oget themselvs out before its eithre too late or their brain has also manipulated themselvs. let me explain. When a woman is abused for a period of time (sometimes not long at all) her brain begins to tell her its ok, or that maybe she desercs it. and if not that then it tells her that that person isn't really all bad but there;s something wrong and they feel sorrow for that person abusing them inside without realizing. Their stuck and the only way out is for someone else to get them out. My mom went through it and was the same way until it came to me and my brother, she had to work and hide money toget us out, my dad threaten to kill her if she left. sometimes being threaten for your life scars you to stay too. expecially if there's kids, maybe she's afraid he;'ll come after her or the kids and hurt them. if you see it, record it or soemthing and report it but MAKE SURE she is out and keeps soeone to watch her, becasue the first chance he gets to get her or the kids he'll take it! EDIT she's mentally unstable and can't get out she's NOT stupid!!!! you need to go to the police and tell them all this!!!!!!! EDIT wow thats really cruel, you really need to do research-she can't help it, she's basically blocked. sometimes people don't show their true colors until later down the road, as I said you need to do research. She's not doing it on purpose and its obviously she's hurting. If your not going to help and allow her to be harmed than you are JUST as guilty as if you are the one abusing her! just as law, if a civilian see's a crime committed and does not report it, he is just as guilty as comiting the crime. So glad she has a friend like you!
