My Husqvarna Weedeater Will Not Continue To Run Once It

Husqvarna chainsaw wont stay running?

I have a 435 and the gas is fresh and mixed right. It will start easily, then idle for about 30 40 seconds then quit. Also I try to give it fuel and it quits. I am thinking carb. any thoughts?

Can I use the same gas/oil mix in my weedeater as my backpack leaf blower?

As long as there the same 40:1 or 50:1 . A great simple solution for these types of yard tools that are not used on a commercial scale ( everyday) go to your local homer depot or slowes and by pre mixed oil and gas in a can. It’s all synthetic and will last for a long time in the container, it also has no ethanol in it so your engines won’t self destruct or the winter. I use these all the time especially when doing repairs to people’s small 2 stroke engines. see the pic and get the one your weed wacker or blower requires it will be stamped on the fuel cap. It’s called True fuel and it comes in several different sizes to suit your needs. for some reason my I pad won’t load the picture, just google True fuel .com

Primer bulb on weed eater will not prime, it stays pushed in.?

Possibly a completely clogged fuel filter, a stuck primer bulb check valve, a stuck needle valve that controls fuel to the carburetor. Many string trimmers have Walbro carburetors. Here is a WY series showing how it works: http://wem.walbro.com/distributors/servi... Check the brand and series of yours, and if it is a Walbro, here are some other series: http://wem.walbro.com/distributors/servi... If you plan on tearing it down you might get a kit, and replace the internal parts. Good Luck

Why is fuel leaking from the carburetor intake of my weed eater?

check the rubber bits first.mainly, the needle valve under one membrane, or the flaps that constitute the one way valves for the pump…sounds like it ingested itself some grit. even a tiny speck of near invisible lint will cause problems.8 years aint bad, but in my experience its the engine that starts suffering if its in daily use, before the carb.99% of the time, a complete dismantle, soak in methanol overnight if required (cheaper and more effective than most solvents for removing petrol “shellac”) followed by a good blow out will set it right. remember to pull both hi and lo needles, by counting the turns required to bottom them out first. open them up by half a turn on assembly, and give it a quick tune up whilst at it.i havent ever resorted to actually using the one rebuild kit i have here on hand… usually easier to scavenge scrap yards and come home with a dozen or more! a lot of the parts are interchangeable… a lot arent!

My weed eater blowing blue smoke was working fine last time i used it added fuel and oil mixture and keeps cut?

Mr McWilliams.... Go and buy a new carburetor and fit is as instructed. You need to have someone show you how to mix the gas ratio, too, or you will have similar smoking problems. Your carburetor diaphragm is bad, and I doubt you will know how to change this or how to look for the hidden number to get the correct number from the carburetor.

Which is the best weed eater?

It really depends on your budget and your requirements. If you’re just trimming your edges on a small garden every few weekends then there’s no need to get anything too expensive. If you’ve got a big yard with some tough grass and weeds then you’re better off getting something sturdier like a commercial weed eater. Some good choices are: Tanaka TCG27EBSP, Husqvarna 324L, Hitachi CG22EAP2SLHere are some things to consider:A straight shaft keeps the trimmer head a little further away from you than a curved one would and also is easier to maneuver.2-stroke or 4? 2 Stroke trimmers are more powerful but are noisier, pollute more and require the gas to be premixed with oil. Go for a good 4-stroke trimmer. It’ll have plenty enough for most applications. If you’re going to be using the trimmer for extended periods then get one that clips into a harness to save your arms and lower back.If you like the idea of not having to use gas but still getting plenty of power then get one of the best battery powered weed eaters: Best Cordless Trimmer – Battery Powered Weed Eater Reviews 2017There are some good reviews and a buying guide here if you want a commercial weed eater: Best Commercial Weed Eater Reviews And Buying Guide For 2017 with some more good reviews available here: Best Commercial Weed Eater Reviews - Commercial String Trimmer 2018

Brand new Husqvarna trimmer stuck on full throttle?

Hi, BlueJ/Kaleb.
So you spend your hard-earned money on what ought to be a fine machine, and this. Nuts!
If the store is still open, I'd zip back over there and exchange for another one tonight!

Chances are it's some BS minor thing, something hanging up because it's new and tight that should be releasing. Fiddle with anything you can get to, even with a little disassembly, looking for a burr or something that looks like it ought to move but doesn't, somewhere in the trigger assembly on over to the carb throttle. I suspect you'll stumble onto it, if not simply by repeated tries after messing with X,Y, and Z. Sure, you can void the factory warranty, but if it comes to that, the store should accept the responsibility for selling you something that did not work, period, without even involving the manufacturer.

If this really goes south, get on over to a real 'Husky dealer with a shop and stay there. Good luck.
