Since i landed an turned it off airplane mode my iphone 4s says no service and wont connect to a network so i cant make calls etc. anyone know how to fix? Ive tried turnin off and on, data roaming is off but when i turn it on still nothing... Im on orange in the UK.
IPhone saying it can't play video on cellular?
I'm in the NBC app trying to watch a show. When I click on the episode I get the error message "Sorry under your current setting you can only playback video on WiFi. If you'd like to connect via cellular data networks for playback, change your preference under setting in the app." I went in settings and then to the bottom to the nbc app and it's set to use cellular data so I'm not sure what else to change?

Snapchat says Could Not Connect?
So i've been using snapchat for a while now and then 2 days ago it was working fine then it started to tweak on me e.e I couldn't open snaps, send snaps, refresh snaps, nothing and i tried to log out and log back in but it always says Could Not Connect Please check your connection and try again. and I tried rebooting my iPhone and turn it off and on and delete app and get it back so many ways for 2 days e.e why does this happen?

Does turning airplane mode on disable data usage on verizon?
Airplane mode disables ALL data usage. So it not only disables your mobile data, but it also disables your WiFi connection. Turning on WiFi WILL turn airplane mode off. So your only option to stop using up your data is to turn off your mobile data in general (you can find this in the settings in the data usage tab). Hope this helped.
How to use a Verizon iPhone 5 on Sprint?
I couldn't find anything online that says you can do it, but I did find more sources that say you *can't* do it. I thought it might be different with the iPhone 5, since because it's 4G/LTE it's the first iPhone where every carrier's version has a SIM card (in the past, Verizon and Sprint iPhones didn't all have SIM cards, and those that did, only enabled it for when you were outside the USA). But the Verizon iPhone 5 SIM slot *is* sort-of unlocked, to the extent that you could install a SIM from AT&T or T-Mobile, and voice and texting would work, but probably not data. It would be the same if you were outside the USA and put in a SIM from whatever country you were in. However, I am pretty sure it won't work at all with a Sprint SIM. You could always try it; it wouldn't break anything. P.S. Whether a phone is locked or not has nothing to do with whether the phone's in a contract. The phone doesn't "know" whether it's in a contract. If a phone uses only a SIM card (which the iPhone 5 does), then the thing that identifies the phone to the network is only the SIM card, not the phone at all (this is different from older Sprint and Verizon phones where the phone's built-in ID was what was recognized and matched to a number).
