3. Lower back problems
4. hurting when you go pee.

if you had these syntoms, dont wait, go to the doctor right away! I waited because i thought that it was just like i twisted somthing in my back or slept funny and i suffered.

My lower back hurts all the time, what should I do?

You should first find out what’s causing the backache. For this, it is necessary that you visit a qualified physician who can evaluate your condition and tell you the exact cause of the back pain and the appropriate form of treatment to follow.A full postural checkup is recommended to find out if the problem is structural or functional in nature. It would also be a good idea to get your feet assessed for a flatfoot condition – this is when your feet lack a sufficient mid-curve and end up flattening onto the ground completely as you walk. This sets off a ‘domino effect’ on the rest of the body, affecting the functioning of the ankles, knees, hips and lower back – all these end up working beyond their normal range of motion as a result. If confirmed, the regular use of customised orthotics such as MASS4D® can help support your feet in their most optimal posture to encourage normal functioning of the feet and consequently, the rest of the body as well. This helps in reducing any additional stresses on the lower back and promotes proper postural alignment of the entire kinetic chain.Read more about how you can manage your back pain with MASS4D® orthotics here.

My Lower back Hurts all the time (im only 15) ...?

What about the chiropractor?? That's not technically a doctor. But anyways I had the same problem. It was caused by my bad posture and lack of stretching/ exercising. I would recommend that when u start feeling the pain you to put some ice on it for 15 min. at a time max and try simple stretches. I feel like a million bucks now, but it didn't happen over night. It took about a month and a 1/2 to get back to feeling like normal.
Go to this site and maybe try these simple stretches. I am almost positive that it'll help you.

These sites should help ur back.

If it does not help tell ur mom that ur not faking and to have some sympathy.. you are in serious pain. You may have a serious condition. But first try the ice and stretching.
I really hope this helps you. I totally understand where u are coming from. I was in serious pain b4!!

My lower back hurts really bad! what can i do?

You mentioned you could not see a doctor but if you call your family physician s/he could prescribe a muscle relaxant that your help you be more comfortable.

It sounds as if you suffered a sprain of some sort. The spine has three regions, the cervical, thoracic, and the lumbar and each has a set of nerves coming off them. If we twist or move a way that puts pressure on a particular region or a nerve set we then end up with "back pain".

The first thing you need to do is to not tense up the area as this will exacerbate the pain, second place cold on the area (many doctors recommend frozen peas) leave the cold on for 15 - 20 minutes, rest the area for 20 minutes and then repeat. [Do not use heat]

Take Tylenol for pain and try no to lift things. What a lot of people do not understand is that when we left things we often lift incorrectly, we bend our back and do not keep it straight, and this puts pressure on the back muscles and the nerves.

The good news is that most back sprains, without treatment, do go away in 3 - 6 weeks on their own. However, you need to have a doctor examine the area for injury.

Hope this helps ...

I slipped and fell down and now my lower back hurts. What do I do now?

It depends on where exactly you are feeling the pain as to how to treat it.Firstly you should go to a professional physiotherapist or doctor to get a scan to properly diagnose what it is.I am not a physiotherapist and can’t give advice but can tell you how I have fixed my own lower back issues through physiotherapy and a lot self treatment. Also, is the pain radiating down one of your legs? Or up into your lower back area?If it is down one of the legs, it is possible you have some compression in one of the the lower lumbar discs. To help alleviate this, you can decompress it by putting your lower back in traction - easiest way I could do this was to let my legs hang while in a dip station (see pic):It’s the best pic I could find. You don’t need to raise the legs or work your abs, just breathe, relax and let them hang for 20–30 seconds at a time. This will take a lot of pressure off the spine. You can also lay on the ground and have a friend lift and pull your legs or think of your own variation. If the pain is radiating upwards, it is likely an issue with your gluteus minimus or gluteus medius. To help this, you need to stretch and massage it to release it. See pics:If you google or type ‘glute stretch and massage’ into youtube you will find a wealth of info on how to do it and will explain better than I could :)That is just a start. You still should go to have it professionally diagnosed but these exercises will help alleviate the pain.I hope this helps.

Hurt lower back wakeboarding..Back Pain Doctor?

I was wakeboarding over the weekend. I wasn't doing anything stupid. I jumped the wake and when i landed i had a sharp pain in my right lower back. I can barely sit or bend over because i constantly have shooting pain in it. The pain is moving around the hip to the side and now front. I've had lower back pain before, but nothing quite like this. I'm looking on my insurances website trying to find a doctor, but there doesnt seem to be anything specific for backs. Would this be an orthopedic? I already have one of those set up, but wasn't sure..
Is an orthopedic

Which doctor should I visit for lower back pain?

It is very good question. My recommendation is spine specialist, either Physiatrist specializing in spine or spine surgeon. I am biased towards specialist. Here  is why. Although, 8 out of 10 patients have benign back pain, 2 out of 10 need further work up and treatment due to more serious problem. The challenge is to find out who need only exercises and some advice and who needs further work up and treatment. The trick is to find the doctor who is able and willing to find why your back hurts. Our field is very fragmented with multiple professionals treating patients. Unfortunately, many patients get treated without being first properly diagnosed. Being spine surgeon I deal a lot with myths about spine surgery and spine care. It is almost impossible to say what is the best treatment for back pain as this is only a symptom. If one suffer from headache it is idiotic to ask if it is better to take Tylenol or perform brain surgery. It depends why the head hurts. If one has brain tumor, surgery might be best treatment. If you have cold it is better to take Tylenol. Likewise, first question is why the back hurts not what is best treatment. Many people believe that we can't find the source of the pain. It is a myth. Only lazy or ignorant doctor can't find the source of the patient pain. Thus your best bet is to find specialist who will take time to find why your back hurts, explain options to you and is able to treat you. I hope this help. Sorry for verbose answer.

How long do you have to see a chiropractor for lower back pain to heal?

It depends on a few factors.  Generally after six visits, chiropractic should show improvement.  Chiropractic is the best choice for lower back pain but it isn't the only choice.  Some conditions will not actually respond to chiropractic.  If a chiropractic treatment plan doesn't fix your problem, it is an immediate red flag that what you have may be more serious and/or organic.  Some conditions of organs may cause referral of lower back pain.   Those conditions range from mild to life threatening (from kidney stones to carcinoma or aneurysm.)  Note: After six visits, generally a person who has a chiropractic condition will notice at least some improvement.  That improvement may not be huge (maybe 30% improvement) and they may not last long.  There are three phases of care.  At the end of phase one - corrective phase - the improvement should be between 60-80% (typically 8-12 visits, depending on what is going on).  By the end of phase 2 - stability phase - the improvement should be between 85-100% (typically another 8-12 visits, depending on what is going on).  Some treatment plans are as few as 3 visits.  Some are as large as 30 visits.

I have lower back pain and my doctor says my white blood cell count is high what does that mean?

it sounds exactly like a kidney infection. remember your kidneys are in lower back area, underneath your ribs. the high white cell count means there is an infection in your body, and it is multyiplying to try and kill it. be gratefull your only symptom is low back pain, it could be MUCH worse. ive seen people end up in the hospital, because if not treated it can affect your kidney function.
