Your phone may not be charging due to a faulty socket, but I presume you must have checked that already. :P On a more serious note, sometimes phones or other electronic gadgets tend to get damaged during charging due to problems with sockets. Samsung Galaxy S4 not charging?
Hi all My galaxy s4 has recently stopped charging. The phone says it is charging, and the bolt sign appears in the battery, but the battery continues to die. I have tried numerous usb cables, tried wall and laptop charging. Can anyone help with this?

Nooooo.4: 5 to 10 minutes of uninterrupted do not disturb sleep. It needs a break. Press the power button just to clear the capacitors. Give it an extra minute or two.5: Now that it's stone cold no power, dead, replace the battery and restart the device. If you haven't done a software update and the screen comes back, do it.6: If the screen doesn't return after this exercise, it's time to take it in to be accessed by a certified tech. How much does it cost to repair a screen on the Samsung Galaxy S4? Where would I go to get this repair done?
My father gave me the Samsung Galaxy S4 last month. I love it! Bad news is I dropped it this morning and the screen cracked. Everything works fine. I can still touch and text and talk it just looks horrible and sometimes is hard to read. It isn't rigid or anything its still smooth when i touch it so I am guessing that it is something underneath that cracked? So my questions are 2. 1) where would I even go to get this fixed? I have no idea!!! Since I didn't buy it and my dad bought it in another state and it has no insurance I am not sure where to even start. 2) How much am I looking at needing for the cost? Seriously though, it can be a number of different reasons and as you Unfortunately did not provide any details so it's very difficult to give you a answer. Have you replaced the battery? Can you charge the battery, what happens when you try to charge? Have you been messing around trying to Root your phone? Or what were you doing before the failure? First make sure that its not the charger if its not then think about getting another phone because its usually something goes bad inside of the phones and it's an internal problemwith phone it cost to much to fix unless you have good insurance on your phone and even then some phone companies want to charge you almost same price as a new phone
