What happens if you wake up during surgery?
I HATE that I can answer this. When I was a young man I was taken into surgery after a really nasty car accident. I was actually not in a car but the lady that hit me was driving at around 45 mph. Needless to say, this was already way high on my “fuckin sucks” scale. Somehow after returning to the land of the living, I vividly remember waking up on the operating table with those big ass lights shining on me. I quickly realized I had a tube in my mouth, and I was connected to IVs and things that went beep. As my vision cleared, my eyes tracked to the commotion in the room and I saw two doctor looking fellows along with two nurses all patting the back of a third nurse that was losing her cookies in the sink. It spooked me because I couldn't imagine being in such bad shape that it would make someone throw up. After that, I don't remember anything as I'm guessing the anesthesiologist caught me waking up and reversed my consciousness. Fade to black. That was all she wrote for me and I have no further memories of the operating room.It's been said that anesthesiologists will take you to the edge of death and hold you there. It's a delicate balance and I can see why they make the big bucks.Side note: I hope that nurse is feeling better after seeing my guts. I'm still not sure what was so gross about an 8 year old me but I'm thankful that she got to the sink and didn't puke inside of me.
What will happen if I get my tongue pierced?
well i just got mine done yesterday for my 22nd b-day, after its in you wont be able to talk correctly and you may drool a bit. with in a hour or so your tongue will start to swell and become very uncomfortable. its been over 24 hours since i got mine done and my tongue is very swollen and eating is hard work (i never realized how much my tongue moves when i eat till now) you will have to clean it and rinse with mouth wash several times a day and brush your teeth at least twice a day (hopefully you already do that) drinking cold or frozen drinks help with the swelling (i just finished a 32oz slurpee and have had ice coffee all day). for me the piercing didn't hurt much its the swelling that hurts because my tongue is pushing into the back of my teeth and when i open my mouth i can see my tongue indented with my teeth and the roof of my mouth. this should all heal up soon i was told that the swelling should minimize with in 4 days 2 weeks max. i wish i could tell you more but this is still very new to me, but im already loving my ring! i say go for it!!!!
Need Advice....Shattered Ankle?
In 2004 I fell and shattered my ankle..I have screws and plate in the both sides of my left ankle..things aren't going well with it as come to find out there are more problems with my foot..the doctor who did the surgery told me that there is nothing more that he can do so he sent me for a second opinion.. this doctor gave me pain patches to wear that did help some but I can feel my foot getting worse and it scares me..My daughter called me because she knows someone who did the same thing and his doctor told him that the plate and screws have to come out after a year because the bone does heal...they can't remove mine as I did alot of damage..they said the next step would to take out the nerve in my foot...would it be worth it to do or just learn to live with this pain..been having alot of spasms in my foot at night and it is really bothersome..I am also afraid of losing my foot but if I have to then it needs to be done...has anyone out there had this done??
If I die alone at home, how many hours or days will pass until my pet dog, cat or bird eats me?
This is a cringeworthy answer, along with something I’m mortified to share, but I believe it’s very on point to your question, so here goes.I’m home full time as I was disabled due to an accident I suffered a couple years ago. To make myself useful, I started rescuing and rehabilitating dogs. Let’s be clear, dogs are animals. One more time, dogs are animals.I am female, and other than scars and aches, I’m otherwise healthy, and I menstruate. However, when I do, I dispose of all used feminine products by wrapping the offending product in tissue, putting it in a doggie Poo bag, tying it closed in a knot, and putting it in a trash can with a lid. It helps keep things much cleaner that way.One day, my sweet little runt, Pip came running out of my bathroom full speed, jumping on the furniture, and doing full speed laps around my living room.I caught him, he growled at me, and sped away. I noticed he had something in his mouth. I went to catch him, and my sweet 7lb dog showed teeth, growled, and the fur on the back of his neck stood straight up. ““You nasty little bastard! What do you have?” He tried to run again, and I said “Hey!” In my command voice. “Stop! Drop it NOW.” He stopped and rolled onto his back, mouth clamped around his treasure. I pried his little mouth open, and what did I find? My used tampon! I was mortified. He tried to jump and take it away from me, still wanting it so badly.To him, it was blood, his animal instinct took over, like any dog who found a delicious bone to chew on. He would not give it up willingly, and as an animal how is he supposed to know where the boundaries of decency are? Based on that, I do believe if someone died, the animal very well may see the deceased as a huge delicious slab of meat to feast on, regardless of who the person is. Unless Mother Nature instilled in dogs the instinct to not eat their leaders, I do believe that dogs will eat the carcass of their handlers. My dog seeking out and feasting on my dirty tampon confirms my suspicion.Behold… the little thief…

They won’t go out of their way to find it. It’s just apparent to them.
How can I give my boyfriend better oral sex when it causes my jaw so much pain?
I have TMJ from grinding my teeth when I was young and continue to clench my jaw as an adult. My biggest discomfort with this is my inability to open my mouth very wide or holding it open for prolonged periods of time (dentist visits are incredibly painful). My boyfriend enjoys receiving oral sex above the average male. (It's just his special "turn-on") Because of the incredible pain the quickly builds in my jaw joints when I give him oral sex I avoid doing it as much as possible. It's not that I don't like it, it just hurts soooo much. Is there anything I can do to help reduce the pain?
