My Trash Only Keeps Emails From 1 Day Ago. How Can I Change It To Keep Trash From At Least 2 Weeks

My yahoo mail inbox keeps deleting any email more than a week old - how do i restore settings to stop this?

Hi Catherine,

Yahoo Mail only auto-deletes messages that are in the Spam and Trash folders. If you are having trouble with missing emails or folders, try the troubleshooting steps in the following Yahoo Help articles:

"Messages are missing from the inbox or another folder"
http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...

"Fixing browser and display issues on Yahoo"
http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...

If the messages were deleted and emptied from the Trash folder, you may use the steps in this Yahoo Help article to attempt a recovery. Please know however there is a small window of time our engineering team can use for email restores and they may not always be able to recover deleted messages:

Hope that helps!

My dog keeps peeing on the trash!?

it sounds like your friends dog marked on your can. Wash the trash can... thoroughly with a urine eliminating product. or get a new trash can and move it.

no dog is house broken at 7 months old... as you can see. He needs to spend more time outside too.

Do not yell, throw stuff, drag him over to the can... that will only show him that you will give him more one on one attention when he does it.

All dogs want attention and would prefer getting negative attention over NO attention.
** Praise him every time he walks by the can without pissing on it (a good pet is worth a hundred treats). ignore him when he does. put him alone in a kennel or other room while you clean up his mess where he cannot see you. no yelling, talking or scolding just lead him to the door outside or the other room...

also, 6-12 months is boundary stretching time. one of my dogs used to get up on my bed right in front of me and pee just to see what I would do about it... answer NOTHING. she went outside alone and quiet.

annoyingly constant positive praise for even the smallest good behavior and healthy treats is the recipe for a good house dog.

most treats from stores cause heartburn and digestive problems. get chicken jerky with no chemicals.

also, very important*** a tired dog is a good dog. if he is not a basset hound or bulldog, he needs to be outside running... ALOT.

good luck

Cats Tearing Up Trash Can Bag?

and or
2.put a rag with bleach on it on top of the trash.
and or
3. take the trash out more often

My neighbor keeps throwing her trash in my garage can, what legal actions can I take?

Lock your area so she cannot get into your trash. Or, give it back to her a few times. Just put it on her step with a note stating she is not following recycling or neighborly protocol and to please keep her own garbage.

Then call the by-law enforcement officer for both animal control and the one for refuse pick up for help.

She's a menace to your neighborhood by feeding stray cats. They will become even more feral and breed like crazy. Then there's a whole new problem for you all. I lived in a neighborhood where that happened. It was stopped but not by the law, not sure by who but they all disappeared one by one.

Why do some people bring there laundry in trash bags to the laundromat?

1) I don't wait until my last pair of underwear to do my laundry.
2) The people who bring there laundry in trash bags usually take up 4 or more washers. Hello, other people need to do there laundry too you know.
3) Why a trash bag? They sell laundry baskets at the dollar stores.

Will a mother cat clean up her kittens waste?

well ive seen many cats have kittens-when they give birth to the kittens they lick them clean and also eat the afterbirth(does sound gross but it's the truth)i think it is nutritional for them as well- then many times a day the mother will clean the kittens all over including their behinds(because a kitten can't go to the bathroom on their own the mother has to stimulate them so they can go-and then of course she does eat it- kittens don't usualy start using the litter box untill they are begining to wean from the mother and are starting to eat hard food-every one is different sometimes earlier sometimes later- a kitten itself can begin to wean between 4 to 6 weeks old nothing much sooner than that but again can be later than 6 weeks as well-it all depends on the mothers attachment to the kittens, and when the kittens are ready. but getting off of track here i just want to let you know to have a box or something ready for her w/ padding or a thin blanket for her-and she may not nessissarily have the kittens in that box, more than likely she has a place already picked out-and nothing you do will change her mind the day she will be giving birth--so what you will need to do is leave her and her kittens where they are for a couple of days-a mother cat on;y knows her kittens by their scent-so if you handle them too soon she may abondan them(most won't because they trust youand know your scent, but some might-so just be causious)-so after a couple of days move them slowly and carefully and as well as moving the mother- then i wouldn't recomend touching or holding or even petting them for 2 more weeks-
so as for changing the bedding i wouldn't chang it because it is more comforting for her with her scent on it already-
hope this answers your question and then some!!

What to do about neighbors leaving trash in front of door?

The people who have lived in the apartment directly across from mine for nearly a year leave their garbage bags in front of their door instead of taking it to the dumpster right away. While it is an eyesore, it has only become a real problem recently - because its hot outside. For the past week a trashbag has been cooking outside their door stinking up the whole breezeway. I have knocked on their door but they haven't answered, should I leave a note asking them to take their garbage to the dumpster or is that too passive aggressive?

My neighbor hit my trash bins with her car when backing up into my driveway. She wants me to be liable for the damages (bins and the car) since I was obstructing “public property”. What do I do?

I have had a similar issue with my idiotic neighbors. Our trash bins are provided by the county and are clearly marked as county property. I keep my bin at the side of the road on a grassy strip which is also county property. In other words, county property ON county property. My neighbors have more vehicles in their household than they have people or space to keep them, so they are frequently parking a vehicle on that grass strip. The problem is, they used to do this in a way which either completely blocked my vision to get safely out of my driveway, or the tail end of their vehicle would be partially blocking my entrance/egress from my driveway. One day, I confronted the neighbor about this, and the woman started arguing with me about the strip being county property, to which I pointed out the clear embossing on the bins indicating that they were county property, whereas her vehicles were not. When she realized I wasn’t backing down and was at my wits end, she moved the very large truck parked there blocking my driveway.A few weeks later, her son decides to park a different vehicle there, and proceeds to push the bin out of his way with the vehicle. He then leaves the car like that, with the bin at a tilt propped up against his car.I CALLED THE POLICE.The police arrived and instructed these m0r0ns that the LAW was that they could park their vehicles no closer than 6 feet from someone else’s driveway. Had they damaged the bin, they would have been on the hook for it with the county. These idiots still press their luck, frequently parking closer than the 6 feet away from my driveway that they were told. I have no problems calling the police on them again and again if that is what it takes. I spoke to them once, and that didn’t seem to take. Some people simply have to learn their lessons the hard way.I would strongly suggest getting security cameras in that area, because this woman will invariably try other stuff to retaliate once she’s finally told she has no grievance. Protect yourself.

I am preparing for competitive exams, but for the past few days I have not been able to concentrate on studying and when I force myself I feel exhausted. When I start studying my mind wanders a lot. I'm in a 'do or die' situation as I have to clear those exams, but I am wasting my precious time. What should I do?

Thank you for this detail question description. The same things occur with every aspirants. They all do the same for fighting it off. But, what actually makes a difference is their unstoppable efforts to work onto the same.Fear, anxiety and pressure like things are very common in the struggle of clearing any competitive examination. Around millions are giving and thousands will be selected. Tough.Nothing except for going along and studying is the way to fight this.If you ask Google it has techniques like meditation and etc. If you start meditating with such kind of chaos in your mind then, you'll feel more low as you will depend upon meditation. Proper mediation gives result in and after 3–4 months of practice and till that time you don't have so much patience. Accept it. So it cannot help.As I said earlier, walking through the same. Studying is the way only.Hormones may play with you sometimes. Let it. But do remember when the game ends, you should be the winner.Don't feel low and stressful.Believe in your efforts, the results will walk to you as it is meant to be.Few things I personally practice to get rid of such things is:Yoga. Preferably, kapalbhati pranayama for 10 minutes daily. You can see the effects of the same on the internet.Weekly dopamine, serotonin and endomorphin doses. In my case I like to eat, so I prefer eating tasty and healthy food every week to keep myself happy.Build up the habit of patience. Slowly everything fades off and I'm again back on track.Discuss the issues with one close friend and with family. I said discuss, don't expect solutions. It will help. Finally, be passionate and keep reminding yourself, your 'why' for this journey. All the best!Thank you!Binoy Roy
