My Warning Buzzer For

I have a Honda BF40 outboard and the warning buzzer goes off...?

steady tone usually means overtemp, beep-beep-beep usually means fuel restriction, or maybe oil pump malfunction.

you might have some minor fuel delivery issue, if it's leaning the mixure during acceleration you might not notice a performance problem now but you'll pay the price down the road, as a lean mixture means elevated combustion temps (not the same as cylinder head temp), which inevitably leads to catastrophic engine failure.

or, could be a sensor malfunction or something.....

Seat belt warning buzzer won't stop. What can I do?

If there is ANY problem with the safety systems of a vehicle the dealer will usually cover ALL repairs under a "lifetime warranty" deal, your safety is most important to them... try and see... (I have a 2001 Civic my SRS light was on (Red Light) took it in to have it fixed they checked the light (free of charge) and it turns out my sensors in the seat belts were faulty... they replaced them free of charge... ) hope this helps you

How can I fix the headlight warning buzzer in my 1992 Chevy Cavalier?

Really? We survived for years without some stupid chime to remind us to turn headlights off! It's actually part of being a responsible driver to at least glance back at your car after you get out of it. It might just give you a heads up that you have a low tire or a bad shock in addition to letting you see that you left the lights on.

Either way, it's a little box that's under the dash. I don't know if it's even available anymore. I'd try a GM dealer first.

Mercruiser 5.0: Why does my "overheat-warning" alarm sound durng idle?

Your water pump impeller is beginning to fail. At low rpms the pump is not supplying enough water to the engine to cool it. At higher rpms there is more volume of water. You need to have this repaired pronto, if the impeller fails at high speed, you will cook the engine. Replacement cost of the impeller - about $150 with labour. Replacement cost of the engine - about $4000.

1986 Ford F150 Where is the headlight warning buzzer located?

its under your steering column.

Car no longer makes warning sound when I leave lights on - Mitsubishi Mirage 2000?

My car used to make a warning sound, just a sustained chime/ding sound, if I ever had the headlights on and the keys were out of the ignition. This sound would remind me, 'hey dummy! turn your lights off!" Suffice it to say, 2x now I have accidentally left the lights on and drained my battery. And I know that it's not because the battery is low that its not making the sound, even when the battery is properly charged, the car no longer makes the sound. Is this something as simple as a fuse to replace or could it be wiring? Its for a 2000 Mitsubishi mirage. Thanks!

Why does my car alarm trigger when I am opening it using the key not the remote key fob?

some alarm systems are designed that way. Most alarms OEM and aftermarket have voltage sensing and will trigger the alarm when the dome light goes on. This is to combat possible breaks ins using a slim Jim. If you turn off the dome light(s) or remove the bulb, the alarm will not trigger unless it has a shock sensor. This includes “door ajar” sensors btw. This feature can be programmed out on most alarms but defeats the purpose of having an alarm.
