There are high chances that the college will begin the classes in mid October. So you have time till, say October 15th.Now coming to your Visa processing, it will take a month. One or two days less at times.As you said your Visa interview is scheduled for August 11, you will receive an approval email somewhere between 5th - 10th September. If your Visa is not approved, you will not receive any email.That email will require you to show up at Embassy and submit your passport with travel insurance, copy of email and stamping fee amount.They will call you exactly after four working days to collect stamped Passport. By that token you will be receiving your passport from 15th - 20th September.Clearly you will still be enjoying one month to plan further, arrange accommodation and flight booking.Just be confident and cool at your Visa Interview. They might check your patience and possibly can challenge your temperament.
Can a final year student apply for SSC CGL 2017?
Answer is a big YES.But there is a catch, u needed to have the mark sheet on or before the date mentioned by the commission. For 2017 CGL I guess that to be 1st Aug 2017. Not sure.Coming to the real situation.Forget the mark sheet tension. Apply for exam and appear. No one will ask for u r mark sheet untill tier 2 exam results are out.If u have u r results published before the stipulated date well n good. Jon the service after doc verification. If not absent yourself for verification.All that u lose is only the examination fees Rs.100. Moreover u can appear for the exam next year working in any private org managing u r expenses and parallely revise whatever u studied for the previous year exam which would be much easier and high chances of getting top rank and preferred post.Addition to it u can also apply for CHSL to have the feel of the exam.All the best for u r CGL.

Hello, I may need alittle help on a research project on Japanese Internment Camps. I just need some good research sites where I can find some good info on this topic that is easy to read. Unfortunately, I also have to make a bibliography for the websites I researched at. It has to contain: Name of website. Editor/Author. Date edited. Name of Organization. Date of access. Web address. I would really appreciate your help. Because I really don't know why the hell my ENGLISH II teacher has to give us a project like this that involves difficult research... If I have 60 points exactly in SkillSelect for an Australian Permanent residency, what is the likelihood of getting an invitation for EOI? What is the waiting time involved? Should I retake the IELTS to get an 8-band score, instead of the 7-band?
Akanksha Mehra Thanks for the A2A :)Unfortunately, due to changes in Immigration policies on Skilled migration program, an EOI claiming 60 points will not be eligible to receive an invite. According to latest information, one needs to have a minimum of 65 points.As you can see that no one with less than 70 points were issued invites. Securing 70 points also may not be good enough as the cut off score for most pro rata occupations is 75 and above.In the last invitation round, only 1010 invites were issued last month under independent and regional nomination streams. So you can imagine, how competitive it is at the moment. If we compare this with last year’s figures, there is a stark difference. 2210 invites were issued in July 2017 as per Immigration website here. That’s a drop of 1000 invites from July round reflecting a drop of 50 percent.Getting a score 8 in IELTS has become compulsory these days due to high cut off score and I will strongly suggest you to definitely retake IELTS, get all 8’s and hope that for your occupation the cut off score drops to 75.What I would also suggest you is to explore other options like state nomination (additional 5 points) in the hope that your points may increase. One can also explore NAATI - test for obtaining points through skills in credentialed community language.
