Why won't yahoo mail let me send emails?
It keeps saying that there's suspicious activity in my account. But I havn't done anything but email my sister and no one else knows my email! Why is it doing this? It asks me to verify with a captcha code and I type it in right but it still won't let me send! What do I do to fix this?! Please! This is the only contact I have with my sister and I need her! Please anyone give me some advice!

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Java script to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. Yahoo Mail won't let me reply to emails!?
Okay so I recently set up a new Yahoo! email address specifically for selling stuff online through Kijiji (I used to use my Hotmail account for it, but I like the layout/set-up of Yahoo more so I got a new Kijiji account through my new Yahoo account). For the first couple days I could successfully reply to emails, but now I can't. Whenever I hit ''Reply'' I can compose my message, but then when I hit send a little pop-up box from my Windows Internet Explorer comes up saying "Windows Internet Explorer is searching for a problem..." and within 5-10 seconds the box closes and my tab/page closes, then re-opens, with a new pop-up saying "Due to an unexpected error Windows had to close and re-open the tab", and my email has not been sent. So at first I thought something was wrong with my Windows, NOT Yahoo, but I can till successfully reply from my other personal Yahoo account fine - it's just this new one that isn't working! And I went on Yahoo's Help Page (not very helpful, unfortunately) and did some fine-tuning if things it recommended, like changing script and stuff, but nothing has worked. So instead of replying I've been creating a new email to respond to potential buyers of stuff I'm selling, and it says successfully sent, but I'm worried they're not getting them because they haven't replied (and some of them have it go straight to their phone - so they should have replied by now). Any suggestions/advice?! Thanks :)

There is no suspicious activity! This is just one of the latest glitches which has been bothering users since several days. Yahoo staff has been notified and is working on it, but there's no telling when the problem will be solved, sorry... Note: if you have a mobile with internet capabilities, try to use it to get into your account and take care of the mails. At least 2 users reported that they tried this workaround and were lucky. I could not verify this though since I don't own a mobile...:-)

I've been in that situation before, and I have to wait till the connection become good. It'll connect and download with the yahoo server every minutes, so it has to be supported by a good connection. if you dont want to have this kind of problem anymore, you can change back to the old format, but thats up to you.
