Genetic question about German Shepherd offspring?
I believe white is recessive so, if I'm correct, the offspring would take on the father's coloring. Now, if the sire has any white in his background, it would be possible for him to pass that gene on to an offspring (or offsprings) so that one or more pups would be white shepherds. The question is why would you want to breed this pair? How is this breeding going to improve the breed in any way/ Horselover, I and I'm sure others consider breeding for working purposes to be IMPROVING the breed. Frankly, I dislike showline GSDs.
