What would be a good name for a big brother?
I'm writing a story and in it, the girls big brother dies. He was very close to her, and pretty much the "idol" big brother. But I nee some names. Luke, Gavin, Gabriel, is what I have now. Any other suggestions? I want a big brother feel to it. And I didn't want to use any of MY big brothers names. So no "Josh", "Hunter", "Tucker" or "Tanner's". Thanks. :)

Need a boy name to go with big brother Owen.?
Expecting my 2nd boy (hubby's 4th!) in December. I need names that go good with Owen Robert (this baby's big brother who is 14 months older) and Joseph has to be the middle name. Thanks...we're so stuck. We like Drew, Grant, and Ethan but want a sort of uncommon name that goes with Owen at the same time. Biologically, I am the elder one by 3 three years of age. His name is Harsh (home name : hachu).Yes, as an elder brother you could do a lot. That's where I failed.Summarizing my failures:1) Never gave him chance to lead me.2) Never accepted his views.3) I always pushed him backside or shadowed him.4) I skipped supporting him in front of others.It all began in the childhood.When he was 3 and I was 6.I was learning to play cricket, he was learning to speak properly. When I was busy watching Captain Vyom and karma, he was waiting for me to play with him silently eagerly. World was me for him and I just neglected his expectations from me.We had a tricycle. I drove it every single time with him seated at backseat. I never allowed him to take MY SEAT.Was he born to seat at backside? He too had aspirations that I could not understand.For every option that we were given, his choices were neglected unknowingly. He indicated me many a time that he wanted to bat in cricket, to watch his favo cartoon, to eat his liked toffees, to choose his friends. But I unknowingly failed to realize to accept his views.Whether it be sports to expressing your thoughts in front of your friends to having choices in cartoons. His opinions were suppressed almost everytime by our group of friends. He asked me everytime for my support as I was among supposed leaders of our group. (Child imagination) But his plea was like not important at all at that time.Could you tell me what happens to such younger brothers who have always been looking up to you for delight and you have always been showing ‘just don't care' attitude.Till the beginning of adolscency, it went all well without any conflicts. But teenage gave him power to raise his voice.Fierce fights were mundane occurrings.We could have built up a team much strong, but ended up opposite.His childhood saw my dominance over him, helplessness, no support, blame-game and a lot that he he could have been shielded from.You can do a lot by checking the above failures.

That’s when we don’t refer to them by their name, which is the usual when talking to them. Sister-in-law is usually reserved for when we’re talking about them to someone who doesn’t know them. Sis-in-law could be used, and may be some places colloquially, but I don’t generally use it. My wife’s sister who lives near us I sometimes refer to as my son’s aunt.
