i would get the kite runner very good book were reading it in my senior english class in high school. Its about fear, guilt, confusion, pride, rich vs poor, mostly in afragasian its takes place.

Anyone have books they can recommend me?
I have a week off work and nothing to do! I need something to read. It can be off of wattpad, fictionpress, amazon, just any romance books. If it is on wattpad or fictionpress it has to be completed. I am very impatient and I won't wait weeks on end for an update. Just to give you a couple ideas of what I like to read... I like the whole guy rescues girl from a bad relationship, abuse etc. and they end up together. I've read a few books where a young single mom meets a guy and all that. I don't know I just like books where a strong independent woman with issues falls in love with a guy and he slowly helps her heal. I'm not very picky actually. I just don't like the vampire/werewolf thing. So If you can recommend any good romance novels than please do thanks!
What are some book recommendations for me, while I am taking classes? I need an escape other than TV. I am looking for a fairly compact (300 page) book that will really draw me in with a compelling story and is a moderately easy read.

There is plenty to be gained from reading more strenuous books that bend and twist your mind.Books have the power to leave you in a better spot spiritually and psychologically once you complete it.I would advise to not limit yourself. Push yourself to read the 500 page book. Push yourself to read literature that teeters on abstract language and concepts.
