Need Help On Making My Resume For Applying At Al Day Care

Childcare resume? Please help.?

If this is for parents then you will want to make it less formal, not like a professional resume.
Unless the parents are asking for a resume I would make a bio instead. If they want a resume then I would put together a functional resume instead of the other kinds.
I have been in childcare for over 7 years, running my own daycare/nanny business, if you would like to email me what you have I would be willing to give you tips and pointers.

The reason I say put a functional resume together is because you will do almost the same thing for every family you have worked for, so a functional resume will work the best. You can add a reference page to your resume also.

Is my child care resume Okay? (10 points)?

it looks fine to me.. add spaces between the jobs, but other than that looks fine..

Also, add a little detail about what "all childcare responibilities" actually is, such as changing diapers etc. just makes it look a little more detailed rather than just going through the motions of a resume

Can you help me inprove my Stay at Home Mom resume? thanks =)?

Is paying for a professionally written resume & cover letter worth the cost?

Getting a job is getting harder day by day and you have to make your skills stand out in your resume. Most employers said they prefer a two-page CV and it shouldn’t have any grammatical or spelling mistake and have specific details related to the job applied or else it will get rejected. Your resume should be looked at as your elevator pitch - it is that small window of opportunity that you have to get the employer interested enough to call you for a detailed discussion. The easiest way is to hire a professional resume writer. In general, potential employers care about getting accurate information in proper format. Since a professional resume writer is working according to your instructions, you’re responsible for contents and accuracy. Writing the perfect resume is not easy. It takes skill and research to come up with a suitable format that conveys your unique voice. Not all job seekers have the skill. Hiring a professional writer is simply easier. The most common mistakes job applicants make in resumes are:Poor grammar, syntax structure, spelling, and punctuationPoor formattingIrrelevant informationLack of proper keywords that flow into the tracking systemKeywords stuffing, which makes the resumé sound dry and artificialFailure to demonstrate resultsLack of personalityFor someone who’s not used to writing resumes every day, it’s easy to fall into any of the above traps. A professional writer, aware of the resume writing standards and expectations that hiring managers have, will avoid those pitfalls. They will likely craft a resume that’s clean, readable, and attention-grabbing.Relevance is another important strength of professionally written resumes. The best writing services will assign writers who have specific industry insights. They take your instructions and make the information as attractive as possible for the hiring managers in the specific industry niche. For any assistance in building/transforming resumes, you can visit Make My Resume

Why don’t homeless shelters offer free resumes?

I think you may have meant to ask why homeless shelters don’t offer free help writing resumes or free paper copies of resumes. Most shelters are very temporary places, where people stay overnight once and then may or may not get back in the next night. So there’s no continuity. The people have to be out of the shelter early in the morning. They go there to sleep, and in some of them, they can wash up, but they don’t get to spend the day there. Most shelters have very little funding. They don’t have the facilities for resume assistance. However, in the US, we do have career centers such as CareerLink, where people can get free resume help, free paper copies, free help job hunting and free help with interviewing skills. There are also job postings they can look at (usually for the lowest-paying jobs that have trouble finding people to work at them) and sometimes job fairs.

What else to put on my resume about babysitting?

You should learn more about writing effective resumes. If I just answer your question I don't think it will solve your problem. Just go to these links and type 'How to write a resume'.

After writing your resume ask someone who knows how to make EFFECTIVE resumes to edit and critique it. You don't have to pay him for that service. You can gift or treat him to lunch if you feel that is necessary.
Peace and blessings!

How do I make sure my resume is not thrown into the dustbin by HR at first glance?

Short Answer: Don’t be boring… make them want to read more! ;)Long Answer: When it comes down to it, recruiters and hiring managers have an insane amount of resumes to go through every day and they don’t want to have to spend time searching through your resume to find the info they need. You have about 6 seconds to really WOW them… don’t let those few, precious seconds go to waste!!Make sure you’re including your full name and contact info, a title, and an executive summary. Use your summary to highlight your skills and accomplishments and really bring out what you can contribute to the company. If recruiters and hiring managers can see that first and foremost, you’ll have their attention. Then all you have to do is WOW them in the interview room ;)If you have any other questions or need any help, please feel free to Connect with me on LinkedIn - I’m more than happy to help!Juliet, Rosie Resumes :)
