Need Help With A Deja-vu Experience Story

Has anyone ever experienced déjà vu?

Deja Vu: It is the phenomenon of having the strong sensation that an event or experience currently being experienced has already been experienced in the past.Scientific approaches reject the explanation of déjà vu as "precognition" or "prophecy", but rather explain it as an anomaly of memory, which creates a distinct impression that an experience is "being recalled".[As per Wiki]My experiences with Deja Vu are of the precognitive type.Something I should mention in the beginning, I have always paid attention to my dreams. The first dream I clearly remember was in Prep or Ist standard. Now, my most freaky moment was also my first.Standard VIII - I was new to playing football. Normally practicing during game. There was this guy, in a red (Hodson house) shirt, who scored a goal and he ran around celebrating.Suddenly I felt dizzy and stumbled to the ground, nothing major. It was only a few moments later I realised that about 5-6 years ago I had seen the exact same goalscoring scenario in a dream i.e., Standard III.Now here's the freaky part... I did not know what the sport of football actually is until Class VII. I was brought up in a hardcore cricket enthusiastic family, therefore could not have exaggeratedly imagined/dreamed it.It was the red wall behind, the red shirt running around celebrating that kicked in the realisation.Later, when more things like this happened, I would concentrate hard enough until I could remember when had I had that dream. Now what do I concentrate on? Anytime I get the sensation of things being repeated, I always look for specific colours that caught my attention in real life and try to imitate the sensations I might have felt when I had dreamed the scenario. These things still happen every few months or so. Last deja vu was only a few days back and the one before that was in late 2015.I dream every night and can remember most dreams quite clearly regularly. This I do, so that I can become able enough one day to catch atleast one glitch in the matrix ;) haha.P.S.: I'm not sure what the scientific community would make of this, but if you can explain these instances of re-experiencing with more accurate terms, please do so in the comments section. For me, with the information I know, these re-experiences are Deja vus.

What are your personal experiences with deja vu?

My friend rang me up and asked if I wanted to see a movie with her. I agreed and asked which one. She said the movie title, and I suggested another because I'd already seen it a few years back. She said I couldn't of, because it was a new release. Strangely, I could remember watching it and all the details, such as what I was wearing, how I was sitting and where I was watching it; and the fine details of the movie as well as the characters. It was just like another memory. During the movie I could predict exactly what would happen, as I'd already 'seen' it.

How has a Deja Vu experience changed your life or outlook on life?

It hasn’t. Why should it? If I’ve feel I’ve been somewhere before, that information makes no difference since I’ve been there before and now I’m there again. So what? Or if I feel I’m living again an event that has already happened? That event is over again, just over for a second time. So what? It’s just life, and it feels that way at times. I can’t make anything of it other than that’s just life. Life is demanding enough without having to have a re-do. Come on.But in fairness, now that I’m in my mid sixties, there are times when I consider a problem and am reminded of vague circumstances that existed in the meanings behind a dream. Not that I understand the meanings behind the dream, I don’t, but they seem related to events of which I’m considering in the present, seem to be a fit. Without more information about now and then, there’s nothing to say really. It’s just odd. But if we have a story to live, if we are born to live that story, then to me the best thing to do is to just live that story as best as the authority of my own heart can decide. Deja Vu experiences are a mystery within a mystery as the saying goes. It’s as if in past dream, from long ago, I was living out a present dilemma. But I don’t see the connection so I dismiss it.

Have you ever truly experienced Déjà vu?

Yeah I get it from time to time. My dad always told me (the man whose spiritual advice I find it hard to argue with) that it means everything at that moment is going exactly the way it is supposed to be. That is if you believe that there is such a thing as predestiny. I think there is. According to my old man (and his sources are the 4 books he has written but never published from using the Ouiji board) before we start our life we sit down and plan the purpose or goals of it. So to sum it up it means that you are exactly where you planned to be at that exact moment and that you are accomplishing the goals you set out for yourself in this life experience. Kind of reassuring isn't it? Hope this helped. Best of luck!

Is anyone else having strange experiences with deja vu/ time travel? (full story enclosed)?

Your mind is playing tricks on you. Probably a perverse result of something you studied in your psychology classes. Be aware of this, and tell it to stop, that you won't put up with any more of these games. Hopefully this will solve your problem for you.

Something similar happened to me when I was studying heart diseases many years ago, I started to get chest pains. When I realized what was causing them they went away like magic. Good luck.

What is the most amazing déjà vu experienced by anyone?

I had started with my job in New Delhi and in the initial training we were given a training on ICE - In case of Emergency and fire drill demo. Some weeks later I came to my hometown Jaipur for Diwali. People who know Gaurav towers in Jaipur would know that there used to be a departmental store called as - Big Shopper which was all burnt in a fire on Diwali night.Me being fresh with the fire-drill training dropped a letter in their suggestion box about the building’s issues in case of fire hazard. While writing it, I could imagine the potential consequences of fire. Next night, it happened. A lot of shops and the store was burnt and the fire brigade had to drill holes through the roof to put water inside.I felt astonished and crazy!!
