Need To Lose Weight Like Now.

I need to lose weight NOW!!?

im so tired of being the fat kid! all i want to do is be able to go out with my friends and not feel so self conscious about my weight. I've lost alot of guys because they saw how huge i was. my main areas i need to lose weight in, are my thighs, and my arms. im willing to give all food up to lose this weight. i want a fast weight loss and i dont care what it takes. (im 5'4, 16, and 230 pounds)

I'm 16 and want to lose weight?

Hey Ali, first of all you cant lose one pound if you are not motivated, you need to get yourself motivated by someone or check yourself in the mirror, if you hate it then you are ready to lose some wight, and if you think that you are not so big then you really need to work on yourself from the inside before working on the outside.

Now i'm not expert in these matters but basically, losing wight is not just about doing some diet program or doing exercises actually it depends on both, my advice to you is start a diet program and work on it for a while till you get used to it and then start to go to gym, if you cant afford it then home exercises will do it, and add one more healthy execrcise to your program which is running, you need to do some running every single

If you took my advice and worked hard on it then I can guarantee you the perfect body in around 3 to 4 months, and simple changes in your body will be noticed each week

Wish ya the best of luck, and remember dont get lazy on it just work hard and tthe results will be amazing

Losing weight..?

go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m.
I know a woman who lost 60 pounds a month on it. She did nothing else

I have to lose weight. I'm now 87 kg, 21 yrs old. What should be the proper diet and exercise?

Diets dont work, because the mindset behind them is always temporary ( let me deny myself for a week…?). No, you should realise and accept that you're eating less optimally than should be & need to permenantly fix for life, to reduce cancer risk. Decide to soon, Simply stop at once the amount of sugars cakes biscuits sweets to nil, accept they are gone for good and Aim to eat a VARIED diet of foods that is primarily plant, fruit and protein ( stops you being hungry) based but with small amounts of Nuts herbs and permanently accept, youre on a new course. Hungry? simply eat more of the beans and legumes and say peas that you now use instead of Bread /rice /pasta. As you go you'll quickly get the hang of it, your plate needs to be primarily green and multicoloured. Avoid drinking more than small cups of fruit juice (pure juices only Im afraid, not -”from concentrate” rubbish. Keep the fat low, dont consume anything >8% fat including your Fish unless its tiny quantity like 100g in a day max.All these herbs that apparently help with weight loss are nonsense, they wont do anything to aid weight loss that eating appropriately can.Get a bike you love or /and go swimming regularly /take up a sport you like or at least get to the gym if none of these you like. Youre aiming to break a sweat once a day or get active for 1 hour every two days. Youll love it as it becomes a habit. but it may feel like a lot of hard work before you start. Just do it!A major reason why many don’t lose weight is that typically they are doing all the right things but frustrated the weight is coming off. Note the following issues… when you start weight training the first thing that is going to increase is your muscle mass so may feel as if you are gaining weight. Alcohol is an incredibly fattening product. This needs to come right down to nil most days as it plays havoc with your metabolism. Finally check back your portion sizes. Food you eat shoul fit in one hand per sitting max, if you need more, just add more peas or triple vegetables, do not feast on too much fruit esp dried fruit and Nuts ( only eat one or two tiny pieces a day). Lastly beware fruit juice, a large glass is way too much calories, you should drink a small cup worth max (at 50% diluted with water.Follow these things, I promise you, you will lose weight.

I want/need to lose weight, but I can't stop eating?

I'm fat. I know I am because I'm about 40-50 pounds overweight. I want to lose weight so bad and I try to eat well and exercise, but it's so difficult. The exercising part isn't too hard since I've found things I really like to do. But it's the eating that makes me so frustrated with myself.
For example, tonight at 10:30 I decided to eat a huge thing of nachos for no effing reason. I knew it wouldn't be a good idea, but the evil side of myself kept saying "don't worry, this will be the last time and you'll start eating good tomorrow". The moment I put the last chip in my mouth I absolutely regretted eating the nachos...
What can I do to stop this reoccurring cycle of bad eating habits?? This has been happening for the past 5 years and summer is approaching and I'm tired of seeing my downright ugly cottage cheese legs. Please, do you have any tips and suggestions? I really appreciate anything! And please don't just say "uh, just stop eating fatty". Trust me, I say that to myself everyday but it's obviously and sadly not working...
Thanks!

Don't want to lose weight, just tone?

Hey there,

In order to 'tone up' without changing your body weight too much, you need to get rid of some body fat stored and increase your lean body mass (muscle) size!

I can't assure you that you will stay the same weight, in fact, you may actually put on a little weight, but this is okay as it is healthy weight. Muscle weighs more then fat, so if you're replacing fat with muscle, you're probably going to put on weight.

In order to start losing some body fat, start walking 3 times a week, for about 30 minutes - an hour. Take your baby for a nice walk! You'll find you'll actually like it. I'm suggesting walking instead of running, because walking is a low intensity exercise. At low intensities, your body prefers to eat into your fat stores as a form of fuel.

So that's it for dropping fat, now for toning your lower body up!

Luckily, the areas you're looking to tone can be done outside of a gym. Here is a basic program I threw together for you:

Core (Abs and Obliques):

- Basic crunches (http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/de... 3 sets of 15 reps with 1 minute rest in between.
- Standing side bends (http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/de... 3 sets of 15 reps with 1 minute rest in between (if you don't have a dumbbell just grab something that's slightly heavy you can grab on to like a bag of flour)

Legs and butt:

- Lunges (http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/de... 3 sets of 15 with 1 minute rest in between.
- Squats (http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/detail/view/name/sit-squats) 3 sets of 15 with 1 minute rest in between.
- Butt Lift (http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/detail/view/name/butt-lift-bridge) 3 sets of 15 with 1 minute rest in between

Upper Body: (I know you didn't list it, but you should not neglect parts of your body)

- Push ups - 3 sets of 10 with 1 minute rest in between
- Dips - 3 sets of 10 with 1 minute rest in between

Best of luck!

I really want to lose weight....???!?

If you want to do this it is for life so you need to totally change your way of eating and exercising. This is not a diet rather than a healthy eating plan for life. So no more talking diet cause it means time limit.

Here are the golden rules:
Initially cut down to 1200 calories.
Exercise 6 times per week for 1 hours a day. Do three weight sessions and three cardio sessions. No gym involved if you don't have the access.
Don't eat carbs after 4pm, never eat carbs within 2 hours of exercise or within 1 hour of exercise.
Drink 3 litres of water per day. You can have a green tea at the end of the day.
Limit your fruit in take to 2 pieces per day.
Never eat dinner after 6pm.
Adopt of low GI eating plan this is sustainable for life!
Make low fat dairy choices

Follow this menu plan as a suggestion:
Breakfast 7am - 1 cup hot water w lemon
20 minutes later have a bowel of oats w water (no honey) OR
fruit salad w low GI soy yogurt
Snack 10am - pear or apple (both low GI)
Lunch 12.30pm - muligrain sandwich w 50g tuna & salad (no butter)
Snack 3pm - low GI yogurt OR skim berry smoothie (no honey or banana) plenty of ice, 1/2 cup skim milk & 1/4 cup yogurt
Dinner 5.30pm - 120g grilled lean meat/fish/prawns/tofu patties (not fried) w spinach salad & mixed vegies (no whites, carbs) OR 3 egg white/soy omlette with ham, cheese and tomato
Snack - 1 scoop of low cal low fat ice cream (if hungry)

Exercise is must be intense. Refer to www.bodybuilding.com for your weights routine. Never do weights two consecutive days have a cardio day in between.

Cardio needs to include running, go hard up stair wells and cycling. If you have access to a gym include boxing and spin classes as well. You get the most benefits from exercise when your body is totally fatigued and this is when you see changes.

To maintain you can increase calories to 1500 and reduce exercise sessions to 3-4 times per week. If weight creeps up again due to holiday period etc.. go back to 1200 cal and 6 sessions again.

Good luck it worked for me it can work for anyone.

Im 15 year old girl and I need to lose weight! Please help me through this journey with tips and information(:?

Well it's going to take a bit. Generally you will lose 1-2 pounds a week so calculating that you lose around 2 pounds each week it will take you around 2-3 month but realistically it's going to take you more like 4 or more. You don't need an extreme diet to do it either. Just cut out most junk foods out of your diet and replace them with healthy ones. Though if you want a piece of cake sometimes don't deprive yourself of it. Just don't do it a lot. As far as exercise goes all you need is your body and maybe some weights that are 2-10 pounds.
For the first month you will want to keep the same routine until your body adapts. Once it becomes very easy to you it's time to switch it up a bit.

First you will want to run 10 minutes
Then you will want to do
10 push ups
10 sit ups
10 lunges
10 squats
You will want to do this 3 times so you will get 30 minutes of cardio and 3 sets of toning exercises.

Once this becomes easy you will want to switch it up. So like bike or swim for 10 minutes
Then do
10 push ups but in a different form
10 sit ups with your weights
10 lunges with your weights
10 squats with your weights
The purpose of the weights is to add resistance which you don't need at first since you are getting your body use to this type of exercise. With the weights your body will have to adapt again which will boost your metabolism, which will make you burn more calories and you will get more toned over time.
For cardio though you will have to get creative every few months and once you haven't done something in a while you can do it again. Say you haven't swam for a few months. You can do it again and your body will still have to adapt to it over again.

I'm overweight and I need to lose the weight like yesterday! How can I learn to have more patience?

First... relax a bit sweetheart... you might not be as over weight as you think you are! I am 150 cm and 65 kg.. according to my BMI i am waaaaay over weight.. but according to reality i am skinny! In fact you can actually, kinda, see my hip bones! Why? Two reasons.. a. I have higher bone density, which means my bones are thicker and heavier.. b. I have muscles. Remember muscle weighs more than fatSee? Now imagine that in your body... that's why you HAVE to leave the scale away... never trust the scale.. it RUINED MY LIFE... and don't let that f*cking shit ruins your too! Please!Second... nothing wrong in being healthier, right? Don't count calories! Eat healthy food with healthy snacks... 2 snack + 3 meals... one meal shoulf consist mostly greens and meat.. and the other two a good balanse between protein, carbs and fat.. as for the snacks.. eat fruits!! I love apples!! They will make you fill full! Chew gum between meals but don't swallow it! And sugar free is better...Third and last point.. exercise.. you don't have to do much! When i started it i did 2 hours a day! That's crazy and did absoloutely nothing! It made me exhausted... sad... and i cried while exercising.... (don't blame my logic i was only 15) now as a 17 y/o i exercise 5 times a week from 30 min to an hour and not more... mix of cardio and strengh training... i shed off body fat and am mascular now.. i don't have a perfect body.. but i do have toned, skinny and a bit mascular one....But the most important thing is DON'T PANIC.. it's OKAY... it will be okay :) don't let your weight ruin your life..instead you ruin his ;) YOU CAN DO IT! if i did.. so can you.. and i'm the laziest person in the world :'D
