Neighbours from Hell?
I signed a 6 month apartment lease. The place is very small and i have very noisy and rude neighbours. They leave trash everywhere in the building. They slam doors and let their dogs piss in the hall. I let the New York Dept. of housing know already. They don't care. Im sure they do drugs too. I got 5 months left. Is there anything that can be done for me to break my lease. I wanna move asap. I don't care if they keep the deposit. Has anyone been through something like this.

So i live in a peaceful neighborhood but not beside a peaceful neighbor who threatens me all the time and my wive they use my son to get all my information out like where i work how much i earn and what goes on in our house on a daily bases. I have to go to work everyday on the weekdays my work starts at 8 and when it hits 12am there is loud bass metal rock music on i told them to stop but they didnt and they said what you gonna do. My neigbours son always looks at my daughter 24/7 and she has anxiety when he looks at her she is only 13. I want to move but my wive says no and we have to fight this fight and end it i just dont know what to do know?

My neighbour has threatened to kill my dog..?
Basically my neighbour is a big bully. Most of my neighbours are scared of him and say nothing to him, however 3 neighbours, including me and my family will not ignore him and be bullied. He doesn't like this and tries to make our lives a living hell by be an even bigger bully. About a month ago, my brothers dog was put dog because it become seriously ill and the cause was unknown. My brother lives next to this bully and my brother thinks that he poisoned the dog as he never liked it and was always booting the fence to shut the dog up from barking until one day he was being 'nice' and threw over for some food for the dog to eat. Over time the dog became very very ill until it had to be put down. I guess what im trying to say is that my neighbour is not a very nice person at all and me and my family are getting really sick of this. He has already been in prison for beating people up and he is a huge person as we think he takes steroids. My main concern is, what should i do if he tries to hurt me, my dog or my family. Also thanks for reading this and thanks for any questions that will be helpful.
My new neighbours are making my life a living hell, they are making me want to move, but I’ve been here for 30 years, what should I do?
Don’t let people push you around. Organise. If you’ve been there for 30 years, you can easily get everyone in the community on your side. Unless you’re just a bitter old hermit who doesn’t like having neighbours. Then, just get used to a new chapter in the story of your home, and the tree who lives in your yard. Unless they kill the tree, then for sure call the police! Otherwise if they break the law, sure I guess you can make a complaint to the constable, but its better to live and let live. Friendships between neighbours make for strong and safe communities!
Have you ever had a neighbor from hell? How bad was it?
Bad. Worst of it was when I was too young to remember, but according to my parents he would threaten my mother a lot when they were finishing construction and the yard. Apparently he would also watch us play through binoculars while he was in his yard.I do remember how he acted towards us and his kids.He would hit and scream at his kids so loud I remember hearing it from my driveway more than 30 feet away from the windows of his house. His kids were super kind and gentile, but scared of him. We would get apples together, talk Pokemon, and get them food. They were not, however, allowed in the house because of who their dad was. Part of the restraining order.One time my grandmother brought her dog with, then a puppy, while she was visiting us. Misty got loose and starting running through the neighborhood and guess who gets mad? Yep, he does and he shows it by pointing a gun at us with Misty in my arms and promises to blow her head off if she ever comes back (we’re in my yard at this point and a 100 plus yards away). Pointing a gun at a minor I’m pretty sure is breaking the law and my parents wish they sent him to prison for it.He also bashes my family and according to a couple classmates he blackened the face of his eldest because I gave him a Christmas present that he could share among his siblings.This one shocked me and I very nearly turned terrifying as hell because of it. It was supposed to be nice and instead he went and ruined his eldest’s holiday. Thank the blessed patience of my siblings.He still lives next door to us unfortunately.
Neighbor with Tourettes - what are MY rights?
I live in an apartment building next to someone with TS. He screams, he kicks the walls, he bangs doors throughout the day and well into the night. In short, life has become a hell-hole for me; I've had to move out of my bedroom and into the living room to avoid hearing his screeching rages (they are awful and they *terrify* me). I've made several complaints to management and even had someone sit in my room to listen to his rants while I was shivering with fear. Management has tried to placate me by telling me that he isn't even aware of any "noise problems" and it must be someone else. Today, I made another complaint and made them stand outside his door to listen and they heard him alright. I can't even confront him to tell him about our "problem" because he is an enormous guy and I'm barely past 5 feet. If he's banking on a law preventing management from moving him to another apartment away from me (I've been here longer and with his level of rage he needs to be relocated) can I bring up my clinical depression? Technically, he's really exacerbating things for me and if they insist on him staying there, then don't I have a claim that they're discriminating against ME? What are my rights? I do not want to hear how TS is terrible for you - it's not a sunshine time for everyone else, either.
Have you ever done something to get even with a neighbour from hell?
I did once and then I felt a bit crumby about it later but first I'll tell you how the bad feelings got started.At the back of our property we had wild grape vines that grew all the way up to the hydro wires and afforded us perfect privacy. They were on our property. One evening when I came home from work our new neighbor behind was just finishing up her pruning and they were completely gone. Needless to say what happened next wasn't pretty. Anyhow they like their property to look like a manicured Disney Land and we prefer something more natural.Okay, getting to the point. I've actually seen them pick up things on their lawn that they think don't belong and throw it over the fence. Not nice behavior at all.Here's the good part. We have these critters that come up the bluffs where we live that look just like really big rats. However, I don't think they are rats because they are pure white. So, it's a Sunday morning and my husband comes into the house and says that I have to come out side right away and deal with something. He actually looks like he's going to faint. Well there is one of these rat things dead beside the car. He’s absolutely mortified by any kind of rodent. So, in my my nightgown, I get the shovel with every intention of giving it a nice burial but instead I walk to the back fence and fling it with all my might.
