Windows failed to start after recovering from factory image partition, Inspiron 545S?

I have an Inspiron 545S, 64 bits Windows 7 that was corrupted by some viruses and constantly restarted when trying to use internet, and because our daughters didn't know when that started and had no important information to back up I decided to make a clean whole restoration thru the factory Image in the Dell data safe local backup option.

I selected restore without preserving new or changed files and everything went well. the formatting partition started and finished and the reinstall your original content...started and finished and showed 100% "completed" then the option restart appeared and I restarted the computer, then the Windows starting up flag started to move and then freeze and the computer restarted and send me to the repair screen because windows couldn't start. I used the option repair system for windows to start up but at the end of the diagnostic it said that can not do anything and asked to send the report or not. I have done that 3 times and take off all the devices and just left the mouse, monitor and keyboard usb connections but it is still the same, I'm thinking that probably the recovery partition is damaged or corrupted and I'm looking for recovery disks but I can't see any option in Dell downloads to get those disks. what can I do to have the system working again or what I'm doing wrong?

How do you create Windows 7 recovery disk from another computer?

You typically wouldn’t.You could make a Windows 7 installation disc, or bootable USB drive. All that would require is the product key from the sticker on the bottom of the laptop. Then, you can download Windows 7 or 10 right from Microsoft. But the recovery disc. That’s specific to the make and model of the computer.Dell would issue recovery media that produced a Windows ISO, and a disc of drivers and programs. HP, Toshiba, Acer, Asus and just about everyone else use an image of the installed Windows 7, with all the hardware drivers for that model in place… along with any manufacturer’s software. So… if you used the recovery media made from an ASUS, and tried to use it to recover Windows on an HP, you’d get multiple different possible points of failure, with a crippled and buggy non-activated install of Windows being the best possible result. The manufacturers give you the option to make your recovery media, because they want to get paid. They have to give you the ability to reinstall everything should something go south. If you don’t make the recovery media yourself, they are under no obligation to ship you a flash drive for free, on their dime. So it is in their best interests if you don’t make the recovery media… so you HAVE to contact the company and purchase theirs. Usually between $60 and $100 USD.You want to do it for free? You get the product code from the Windows 7 sticker off the bottom of that laptop. You download Windows 7. You put it on a flash drive with the Microsoft tool made just for that task. You boot the computer that needs Windows, to that flash drive. You follow the instructions. When it is finished, you use a computer with an internet connection to download all the Driver installation packages from whatever manufacturer’s support site is pertinent to your unnamed mystery make and model laptop. Run the driver installation packaged. You’ve now put Windows 7 on the laptop, for free. There is no making the recovery media for one laptop, on another. Not unless that other laptop is the same make and model.

How do I install Windows 7 on a new hard drive, with no existing OS and no DVD drive?

I think other Quorans answering here misunderstood the question.I hope you mean to ask how do you install Windows 7 on a new Hard Drive, without DVD drive. And, you’ve a spare Mac at home. Here’s the best way to perform this task.Download the Enterprise edition Windows 7 from Here(Microsoft Official), you’ll have to enter the license key before downloading.Download UNetbootin. And follow the guide here: Create a USB stick on OS X (It works for Windows, there’s example of Ubuntu at the destination)Install a fresh hard disk on the laptop.Boot from USB drive: You’ll have to change boot settings from BIOS to make the PC boot from USB. Try keys f2 or f12 to access bios menu. If they don’t work Google! After booting Windows from USB, you can create partition for Windows and other partitions just before installing OS.If this answer helped you, don’t forget to help others by upvoting this answer.

Windows 7 - Failed to open the registry?

I upgraded from my old XP computer to a brand spakin' new Windows 7 rig. I have an important piece of software that I cannot seem to get working on my new computer though.

I need a USB Key inserted to operate the program. When I have it inserted, I get an error message saying that "No USB key found"

No big deal, this happened before. I went to the company that I purchased it from and they have pretty easy instructions on how to fix this:

"If your computer gives a Key Not Found error, or when Windows starts, it is asking for the file AKSUSB.SYS follow these instructions.
1. Run the HASP Remover.
2. Run the HASP Installer.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Open your LXI software."

However, when I download and run the software and preform step 1, I get popup message that stops me I've never seen before:

"Failed to remove the Virtual Device Driver"
"Failed to open the registry0x2002012 0x10001 0x424"

I've tried to use the "Run as Administrator" option with no luck. Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to get around these failure errors?
