New Tag Lines On Jeans

What are hollister taglines? And what should i wear to my hollister job interview?

Tagline: Hey what's up? Welcome to the pier.
But during my group interview, none of us had to say a tagline.

DO NOT WEAR A DRESS. DO WEAR JEANS!!!

Wear dark denim jeans, flip flops, and a gray or navy top.
I wore dark denim, flip flops, and a blueish stripped button up from there at my interview.
Also, don't wear a lot of make up

Hollisters new tagline :(?

hey guys so i just started working at Hollister and they have this HORRIBLE tagline promoting a contest on facebook it goes "hey guys did you know our jeans could win you the perfect ride" like wtf? its so stupid and not to mention i get so many dirty looks from coustomers so i was just wondering if anyone knew when the contest is over thanks so much

What are some taglines that have failed in the market?

“It’s not for women” used by Dr Pepper for its low-calorie soda “Dr. Pepper Ten”.Basically, what they wanted to achieve using that tagline was to create a Coke Zero/Pepsi Max competitor, i.e. a low-calorie cola made for men.Coke Zero was already positioned as the adventurous-brand and Pepsi Max as the socializer-brand. So Dr. Pepper needed a different approach.For some reason, they thought that being the macho-brand would be a good idea as it would clearly differentiate Dr. Pepper 10 vs. Dr. Pepper Light. The first being for men while second would be for women.They came up with this awful “It’s not for women” ad campaign to support this brand positioning strategy.The result was an instant backfire. Their Facebook page got spammed by numerous people critisizing the campaign, and I even found a petition of angry consumers asking DPS to discontinue the campaign.In terms of business results, the campaign certainly raised awareness about the existence of the product, which was one of the goals it pursued. It certainly boosted sales a bit too. But (thankfully), as of 2014, the drink was underperforming the market with a 8% decline in sales. Not as bad as Crystal Pepsi’s sales results, but still. (About Crystal Pepsi, see: Teymour Bourial’s answer on what is the biggest mistake that a big company has made?)I believe the intent was to be fun. But, I don’t laugh, at all.

Question about cutting jeans into shorts?

Put them on, and with a washabale marker draw a small line of where you want them to hit ( make sure the pockets wont show )

Take them off, lay them flat on the floor and take sharp siccors and cut one leg of the jeans at a time. Make sure you cut a straight line. Then, put the new shorts back on- if still too long, make another line and cut a little more. Remember- you can always cuff them to make them shorter. I find that this often works better AND looks better! :}

good luck!
