Nexus 4 Or Nexus 5 Battery And User Experience

How is the Nexus 4's battery life?

If you're a smartphone user who just uses if for calling and texting and are not using the data heavy functions, you just might pull it off. You will most likely run out of battery before the end of the day with moderate use and push notifications on. I've had it for three days and the battery life isn't something that I'd count on.Update:Screenshots tell the story.Screen shot 1: The night mode was on, wifi, data etc turned off, only calling and texts were on. The charger wasn't plugged in at night.Screenshot 2: Wifi was on so was 3G data.I was using WhatsApp and responding to messages and mails. The vibrate mode for notifications in WhatsApp was off. I also got a lot of news pages, and hit the snooze button every ten minutes (with vibrate mode on for the alarm). A lot of mails poured in when I turned the data on.Get a backup battery pack if you don't expect to spend the day close to a charging port for the phone.

I got a Nexus 6 yesterday and I'm really worried about the battery life. One complete charge gives me around 4 hours of backup. Is this an issue?

The 6 inch screen takes up lot of juice to push those pixels wide enough!Though it has a huge 3225 mah battery , the most you can expect it to last is somewhere a day to half a day depending upon the way of usage. It also has a turbo charger so that you can charge it way faster than normal. And , do not use the phone during a charge!! . Not only Nexus 6 , any phone used under the influence of external charge can explode no matter what company it is

Should I buy nexus 5x or oneplus 2?

TLDR: One plus 2Reasons:Storage. 64gb vs 16 or 32gb. Trust me storage does determine the user experience. If you're constantly deleting pictures vidoes and apps for new content you won't be happy.During the hype period One Plus made a big deal of their cameras. And with recent updates they have only made it better. However Nexus 5x has better low light performance ie photos are brighter in low light. In normal conditions both are very good.5.5" display is very nice to have and given the rumors of split screen in Android N you'll benefit from having a larger display.Performance can only be compared on paper, you won't notice any difference.Oxygen Os is a very unique OS. The whole OS feels like stock Android but it has added functionality like custom accent colors, permission controls etc. So it is like stock Android on steroids. BTW the new one plus warranty programs are amazing for the price. So onle plus 2 makes a much better bang for the buck. With Nexus you get faster updates but if you wait 2-4 months you'll get the update on your one plus. So not much of an issue.

I bought a Nexus 5 in August 2014. For how many years can I use it before switching to a new phone?

Thanks for A2AI would say it depends on which type of user are you. HardwareSee I  am very careless and rough user, I also had nexus 5 and it was so solid and smooth that after dropping it so many times not even a scratch was there (after using it for 6 months I lost it somewhere in Manali). If you are a rough user like me then it  can stand for 1~1.5 years. You can extend its life by showing some mercy. SoftwareNexus 4 was launched in end of 2012 and recently it was upgraded to android lollipop so we can expect a little longer future updates for nexus 5. And in the end there are so many awesome custom roms out there for nexus 5,  incase you get bored with stock rom.

Is moto G4 plus a good upgrade to Nexus 4?

Yes. I recently moved from Nexus 4 to Moto G4 Plus, and it has been a smooth move. The first time you will have G4+ in your hand, it will feel a lot bigger than N4. But after a month or so, you should be able to operate it without much difficulty. With a fast fingerprint sensor in G4+, you'll wonder how were you entering the password/pattern all the time on N4. offerBoth the phones provide clean Android experience minus any bells and whistles; so, you'll hardly feel any difference in terms of UI.Multitasking and performance of G4+ is ages ahead of N4. Camera is way better than N4. Grip is much more assured on G4+. Power and volume buttons feel much better on G4+. Heating is a bit of an issue with G4+.So, overall, if you don't mind handling a considerably larger phone, go for Moto G4+; you won't regret it.
