No Highschool Diploma 9 Months Customer Service Experience

Work without a GED or High school diploma?

I'm sure he could work at home depot, i've known high schoolers who worked there so he should be able to. Also any store he could probably get a job at as a cashier, clerk, or working in the back of a large store (like unloading the trucks or something).
Maybe he could eventually advance to manager or assistant manager, although he'd have to figure out the specific requirements of the place he was working at cause i don't know if they require a hs diploma or GED.
good luck to you two

Do venture capitalists care about High School diplomas?

As for a single answer, whether all venture capitalists care if you have a high school diploma or not -- you cannot answer that because you cannot speak for all people. Some care. Others don't. And it depends.Statistically, most people who have received funding have at least had a high school diploma or even a college degree or two. This however does not mean that receiving funding from a VC becomes impossible if you don't have a high school diploma. All those diplomas and degrees are more about having some evidence that you can work hard and commit to something long-term. Investors are human, they too seek certainty and thus they want to be sure that you won't blow their money. Quitting school may be a sign of laziness, but not all who quit school are lazy, some just strongly dislike the system. If you quit school but then start other projects and follow through and succeed, then probably most people won't even care to ask whether you have that piece of paper or not. Just do something, show that you can work hard, and you'll do fine. And sure, without a high school diploma, your odds of receiving funding may be smaller with some venture capitalists, but life is often about beating the odds and making the best of your situation. That said, having a diploma won't hurt you. And having a college degree may even help you, especially if it's from a prestigious university like Harvard. But overall, it really depends on your individual case. There is not absolute answer here and in general there is no single way to go about living life and doing things.Edit: If you are however looking for an excuse to dropout, then stop right here and now. If you have to ask this question, then you're not ready. If you drop out, you better make sure the reasons are solid and through through and that you have a good plan and multiple back up plans ready. Every big decision you make has to be carefully calculated.

What does high school or equivalent mean?

I understand what equivalent is, but the fast food jobs all say EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL OR EQUIVALENT and they're not supervising jobs, they're regular register jobs. So I feel like it means attending high school. Store associate and office associate jobs both say COMPLETION OF HIGH SCHOOL OR EQUIVALENT.

I'm a 20-year old with only a high school education, no marketable skills, and have been unemployed for more than six months. How can I get a job?

First, take the suggestions that you go to college with a grain of salt. It makes no sense to take out college loans for occupational skills that will barely be able to pay back the loans. If you go this route, research returns on investment for your major (is the field experiencing growth or decline? What is the average income in your area? That sort of thing). You may have to start out again at minimum wage. As long as you are willing to do the work, have reasonable levels of people skills and are reliable, you won't have to stay at minimum wage for long. Where I live (just east of Seattle) we are having trouble getting applicants for any of the entry level positions, so if you walk in the door there's a good chance of getting hired ( just be clean and neat and give no evidence of being a tweaker!).Ran across this article in Forbes about highest paying jobs with a high school education:The Best-Paying Jobs For Workers With High School DegreesThese are jobs that with some training (usually on the job) are paying $20+/hour (several of them over $30).Again, you may have to start out at minimum wage, but a reliable and creative worker who is willing to pick up new skills is an employee of value and will be rewarded with promotion by any sensible business owner or manager (and if the promotions don't materialize or are unavailable, it's time to move on).I found this book helpful in marketing myself, particularly the idea of transferrable skills. What Color Is Your Parachute? 2017: A Practical Manual for Job-Hunters and Career-Changers: Richard N. Bolles: 9780399578205: Amazon.com: BooksAre you treating job hunting as a job in itself? Wake up and go to work filling out applications and resumes, lining up interviews at least six hours a day 5 days a week? Are you living in an area that is financially depressed? If so, you may need to move. Are there relatives or family friends living in more dynamic cities who would let you crash with them in exchange for chores?Diligent effort . . . and best wishes.

Can an Assistant Manager in Customer Service, managing a team of 9, go for PMP certification?

Hi, Sure you can go for the certification, what matters is that you should have experience in working on projects, may for CS or any other at the organization level. In case you have not worked, still you can go for it, in case you want to work for the upcoming projects or have the availability and exposure in your organization. Though, without real world experience the relational study and terminology will seems bit difficult, however PMBOK5 explains the topics in quite good manner, and with some help books and guidance you can have good chances of bearing the batch. Wish you luck for your endeavour.
