Iphone 5 won't connect to home wifi anymore?
Up until about two days ago I could sit in bed and use the wifi at home normally with no problems. Now whenever I go to my room it won't connect! However if I use a laptop that connects just fine. The connection is practically nonexistent unless i'm standing in the same room as the router or at least reallllly close to that room. It's never done this before. I used to have excellent connection throughout the bottom level of our house and my room upstairs. Why is it doing this???? How do I fix it? Ive already tried rebooting the router and forgetting the network on my phone and then rejoining it. Ive also tried turning my phone on and off so what do I do?

Many Wi-Fi routers can’t forward GRE packets and it is required by PPTP. 4G network has no problem with GRE. So check what protocol you are using. If its PPTP, this may be the case. Try switching the protocol to something like IKEv2, IPSecure or L2TP/IPSecure.

Okay, so my MacBook has been connected to my home wifi for months and always worked, nothing has changed with the router or anything but it s suddenly stopped working! It shows that I m connect with full bars, but every time I try and load a web page it says "there is no internet connection". However, wifi on my phone works absolutely fine. The only thing I can thing off, is that I ve started working at a school, and when I gave my laptop to the IT guy to enter the password, he also changed something on my proxie settings. I think he added some thing about the schools website or some safeguarding crap. But since then it won t connect to my home wifi. I have been on my proxy settings and un-clicked "secure web proxy" as it has the schools website on it. Now all that s selected is "web proxy (HTTPS)" but still no luck. Any suggestions? What should be selected on my proxy settings to insure that my laptop connects to my home wifi? Thank you.

I have a Ps4 and im trying to play my brand new game i just bought, of course when you buy a new game you have to download it first, but i dont have internet. Im at school so i tried to use the regular school WiFi, which didn t work. My friends have Xbox and they said i needed a Ethernet cord to connect to the internet. So i borrowed a cord went to go plug it in and did all the steps but it still will not let me connect. It keeps popping up Failed. Im so confused, i tried to manually put in the WiFi and that didn t work either but it work find last year, do anyone have any tips?

Your question says you are connected to the internet, but the details say you couldn't watch videos, so that is a little confusing. Sometimes you can connect to wi-fi but the wif-fi is not connected to the internet. On my phone it still has the wi-fi symbol, but puts an exclamation next to it. I don't know about your phone or if it is an issue, but something to think about/check. Go into airplane mode and then turn only the wi-fi back on. See if you have any internet connection (go to google or somewhere easy to connect to).
Laptop connected to wifi but no internet access?
So, my laptop's being crazy and it wont connect to the internet even though it is connected to the wifi and the signal bars are ok, but sometimes the yellow triangle that says limited access or no internet access is there. I've had my laptop reformatted once and after that it can connect to the internet if the charger is always plugged but the a few days ago it won't work at all. I've tried resetting the router and also removing it and then connecting to the wifi again but it still won't work. what should I do? I'm pretty sure the problem is on my laptop not the internet...anyone can help me? please... :D
