No Yahoo Incoming On Apple Mail

Yahoo email stopped working on iPhone - incorrect user name or password for "imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com"?

This has happened to me as well. I noticed sometime this morning that it said "user name or password for imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com is incorrect." I powered off the phone and back on. No change. Deleted the account and tried to set it up again. After filling in the required fields to setup the account again and pressing "next" it tries to verify the info and the shows the message "The connection to the server "apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com" on port 993 timed out. After messing with it more I noticed somehow it kept removing a couple characters off of the end of my password each time I tried to log-in.
What in the wacky world of sports is going on??

I have 10,102 items in my Yahoo Mail inbox. How can I delete them all at once?

go to yahoo mailType “e” in the search box.Select the “Inbox” dropdown option to the left of the search box.Click the empty checkbox to select all .click deleteclick to confirm when it asks if you want to delete allFor some reason you have to repeat the above 2 or 3 times and then repeat replacing “e” with “a” in step 2, but that gets most of the email, but I just used this to quickly delete 14,000 + emails in the current yahoo mail.

How do you fix Yahoo Mail that is not receiving email from Gmail?

Dear Eva,You seriously can’t because you can’t control the settings of any of these platforms.Hope this helps.

MY APPLE MAIL SUDDENLY STOPPED TAKING INCOMING MESSAGES. NO PROBLEM ON OUTGOING. WHY?

There's a problem with Yahoo's POP server; server does not support RFC 5746. They have to fix that bug.
Meanwhile, you can work changing security POP switching from "SSL/TLS" to "None". It's unsafe, but you'll be able to download your mail
Other possibility is to set POP server to pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk with SSL/TLS
This problem is happening with Thunderbird, Outlook, Eudora, Apple and other mail clients in different countries.

Can I access my Yahoo! email account in China?

Lots of answers here say “of course you can access your yahoo mail from China!”, but the correct answer is “it depends”, which you can take to mean “probably not”.Presently, as of mid-2017, the answer is “No, you can not access your yahoo email from (mainland) China.” (This has been the case for at least the past few months, possibly longer.)And gmail (google mail) is also completely blocked. Visiting China several times per year over the course of the past decade, I noticed gmail & google-related services slowly going away over the course of several years — sort of intermittent access, then “nothing”. (The most inconvenient are sites using facebook or google to login, with no other option to login — thee sites become also unusable from China.) It’s possible yahoo mail will go the same route as gmail. If you have a VPN you use for work, that’s your best option. (Assuming you trust your work’s IT team with your personal use of their services.)When people recommend “just try any free VPN”, note that (1) some of these are not safe/credible, and not to be trusted with your data and/or may install spyware onto your device; and, (2) good third-party VPNs periodically are also shut down by the Chinese govt.As a result, it’s going to be difficult for anyone here in this (already & perpetually) old and out-of-date thread to recommend a VPN to use.

How do I run a new filter on all my existing Yahoo mails?

As was answered, you cannot. However, there is a "sort of" workaround.Let's say you built a filter based on a keyword in the body of an email. In your search box, you could typeBody: [the word] If your filter is based on who it's from, you'd use:From: This will let you search based off your new filter, then move emails that match.
