Now Whats Happen With My Student Visa In The Uk

UK Tier 4 - Student Visa - Apply late?

It depends on where you are applying from. Post the visa application centre you applied to and we can give you more accurate answers. In general though 20 days is a very short time to apply for a visa, especially a Tier 4 visa at this time of the year when the visa application centres are at their busiest. Remember you should only count working days.

You say you have over £9,000 in your account. Where in the UK are you studying and how long is your course? This seems a very small amount to have as maintenance funds and to cover your tuition fees.

You need £1,000 per month of your course up to a max of 9 months if you are studying in London or £800 if you are studying elsewhere. You also need your first years tuition fee or the full cost of your course if it is under 12 months long.

What is the process at VFS for UK visa (tier 4 student) in India ?

Hi,When you arrive for your visa appointment at VFS center please arrive atleast 10 minutes prior (not before that as you’ll be told to wait on any other floor) to the appointment time. And please don’t come empty stomach as its atleast 2.5 hrs process. You’ll be called by the security guard according to your interview time. When you enter in the office door you’ll be told to show your appointment letter and turn off your mobile phone. Then there would be another gate and as you cross that there would be another counter most probably at your right where you’ll be getting token which has a number and when called you have to show up your documents at the designated counter. At the same counter you’ll be getting two more papers out of which one you're gonna fill ( please carry a pen) while looking at your CAS letter and the other will be filled by the document checker. Now when your token number is called show all the documents there. And if choosing priority visa carry 15,000 INR in CASH (thank me later), then they'll give you back your documents in their folder with the payment receipt and a plastic slip having a barcode. Please if you're going for a priority visa choose home delivery as its faster than picking up from VFS ( 2 days faster). When you're done with this you’ll be asked to go to the biometric counter when your token number is called where you’ll be submitting your documents and giving your hand print and picture. Then lastly you’ll be told to wait by the VFS personal and when he calls you’ll have to appear for a skype voice/video call. When you're done with this you can leave the VFS center.Hope for the best.

Applying for UK Student Visa and I lost my old, expired passport. What do I say on my app?

Hope someone out there can help! I'm currently trying to get a Tier 4 General Student visa and need help with the question regarding previous passports. Although the most recent paper/PDF version of the application I've found only asks about passports from the last 10 years, the current online application doesn't specify a timeframe. It simply asks for the whereabouts of my previous passport (choices given: lost, stolen, expired, with me), the passport number (if known) and the city where it was issued (if known). I'm relieved that they included "if known" because I DON'T know the answer to either one, meaning I don't know the number and I don't remember which city I got the passport from. My previous passport was issued 16 years ago and it was lost during a move. Will it harm my chances of getting my visa approved if I enter the following answers: "Lost" for whereabouts; "Unknown - passport was issued 16 years ago" for passport number; and "Unknown - cannot recall" for the city?

The UK visa department lost my passport and my student visa! What do I do?

Panic, Panic, Panic, Panic, youre panic stricken, September is still like two months away, your passport and Visa has plenty of time to arrive and I highly doubt it has been lost between the U.K and the Netherlands, just wait until the end of July to be sure, take a deep breath, relax, wait, believe that everything will be fine.

From India, refused UK student visa twice, chances for Canada?

Hey guys, I'll try and be very concise here. I went to the UK in 2002 with family who kept on applying & getting refused from UK Embassy in 2-3 applications made within UK. During the course of time, I was studying and started pursuing a medical degree (MBBS) in UK in 2005. The university accepted me as a home student since I was studying there for three years. Family came back to India in 2006, and me getting fed up with my situation there (no rights, probability of detention) came back in 2008, hoping I would be granted a student visa.

Applied 1st in Aug 2008 and they refused on the basis of "inadequate funds", then in Jan 2009 they termed my overstaying and some weirdly minor application that I couldn't recollect at all on the form as the reason for refusal and they have barred future applications till 2018 + accusing me of fraud against my uni for paying Home fees for 3 years when I had no business to.

Now, my family is keen I should give Canada a try. I am fine either ways - studying in India or abroad. I want to know how much does my UK history affect my Canadian application. Will downplaying the situation help? Obviously to enter the Canadian medical education system, I would need to do a BSc first, but is this possible now-as in does the UK immigration history have the potential to really make the whole process of applying unnecessary?

Am really desperate, really keen to do medicine and would love to hear some opinions, as to how I should proceed.
