Obama Care - What Is A Household

Obama care if you make 60000 a year what is the maximum you would have to pay each month for Obamacare healthcare USA?

hi my mom has ovarian cancer and makes about 40,000 a year but she just sold a house and had to pay capital gains tax so her income this year was about 60,000 she has ovarian cancer and only has about a year left. should she try to get the Platinum plan so she can get it some treatment?
can they turn her down she tried to get health care of before but the insurance companies would not cover her because of a pre-existing condition. now she only has about a year and needs medical treatment what's the fastest way for her to sign up to Obamacare? what is the maximum she will have to pay each month?

PS is this the American Yahoo Answers or the United Kingdom Yahoo Answers because for some reason under category it said United Kingdom so I selected insurance category Why would united kingdom be the category that was first suggested when my question is about US Healthcare? is this the United Kingdom Yahoo Answers?
Thank you

Ohio Medicaid "household" definition?

I'm applying for Medicaid since I have no insurance and don't qualify for Obamacare since my income is too low. On the application it asks for the number of people in your household, "include yourself, your spouse, children who live with you, and/or anyone on your same federal income tax return if you file one". I only live with my grandma (legally mother because of adoption), but I do not claim her on my taxes and she doesn't claim me since she doesn't file taxes.

Do I still need to list her on my application?

Do you think that President Obama's mother in law is a freeloader living in the White House?

President Obama's mother in law Marian Shields Robinson lives with the President and the 1st Family in the White House. She uses the electricity, water, eats the food and gets personal service from the staff. Is she a freeloader on the American taxpayer's dime? Should the President and the 1st Lady foot the bill for her keep?

Is obamacare and medicaid the same thing?

I would like to know because I received a letter from DHS saying that I am not eligible for Medicaid or health care independence program because my monthly household income is above the income limit for my household size. So was I denied obamacare? But they did say that I can still visit www.healthcare.gov to apply for financial assistance and/or to select a health insurance plan to meet my health care needs. But the letter does not specifically say obamacare or affordable care act.
