Do you believe in karma?

Fo Sho. She stay on the south side!

Do you believe in KARMA?

Yep..I'm a strong and a staunch believer of Karma.Thats the way things are even out in this world

There are people born poor, handicapped, etc, people who suffer for no fault of theirs. On the other hand there are people who enjoy despite all their gruesome and heinous acts ever committed, they don't even suffer for it their life!!!!

This questions the very fairness of life and concept of morality. So an alternate explanation has to be sought. For some actions you have direct results - like you dont study well and you fail and for some actions you have indirect effects. You might have cheated in one exam and got away, but in an exam where you have chosen to be fair, you'd be caught for no fault of yours.I'm just giving an example of how it can work. Some actions you will see results immediately and for some, only after a while(It may even take another birth)

So I have some meaningful reason to believe in Karma

What is Karma? Do you believe in Karma? Does it impact the lives we live

Yes, i believe in karma. Have you heard about the sayings, ‘what goes around, comes around’ and ‘As you sow, so shall you reap’? Karma is just like that. According to the law of karma, every positive deed generates a “merit” while every negative deed generates a “demerit” or a sin. Subsequently one has to reap the results of one’s actions. Throughout our lives we are either settling an old account or creating a new one. If the account cannot be settled in this birth it is carried over to the next birth. We are not consciously aware of the give-and-take accounts generated in our previous births.According to the science of Spirituality, most of our family members are people with whom we have positive or negative accounts from previous births. The reason for this is that one has to be in the proximity of the other person with whom one has karma in order to experience either pleasure or pain. Some are of the view that we are in control of our lives and everything that happens to us is as a result of our own choice. While some others think that everything happens as per destiny only. However, neither of them are completely true. According to the science of Spirituality in the present times 65% of our lives are ruled by destiny and 35% by wilful action. But we can overcome the 65% of our destiny part, by using the 35% of our wilful action to undertake the correct spiritual practice. Destiny is spiritual in nature and the only way through which we can nullify our give and take account and destiny is through sustained and regular spiritual practice. This article explains with an example the law of karma and how give and take account is carried over births: Karma and the Law of Give-and-Take | SSRF EnglishHope this helps :)

Do you believe that karma really matters in our lives?

Yes. Karma really matters in everybody’s lives. I just want to say that always be good, humble, kind and down to earth to people around you. Never hurt a person intentionally. Respect your elders and stand up for your own actions and lastly I would like to say “Whatever goes around comes around” so never mess up ur deeds.

Did Jiddu Krishnamurti believe in Karma or did he believe in absurdism?

First and foremost, Krishnamurti points to the fact that if one denies or disapproves something it does not necessarily mean that he holds its opposite as true. The mind has a tendency to jump to conclusions or imagine/conceptualise opposites. So if one is denying karma one need not replace it but absurdism or vice versa. One more important thing to understand here is, as per Krishnamurti, the word is not the thing. The way we understand the world around is by words and concepts or theories which are mere shadows or symbols. Here karma or absurdism both are concepts/theories, which prevent direct observation/understanding of the real. We impose these concepts on day to day phenomena and mistake it as understanding.Karma was a topic he usually avoided talking in detail. He felt it is common mentality, to comfortably explain things off on the basis of karma or destiny, which can make one dull or insensitive to facing reality or taking action. The theory may act as a temporary solace in times of difficulty but it does not bring one closer to facing facts.Yet the few times, I have heard him speak on this topic, he points out that there is continuous chain of cause and effect just as an acorn becoming an oak tree, or today as a result of yesterday and so on. But is cause and effect similarly static, fixed or specialised, he asked, in case of human action and experience. Because, between cause and effect there is time and many things can have an influence in-between, no linear cause and effect relation can be asserted. And the most important thing to realise, according to him, is that the human mind has always the capacity to free itself from this chain....in the very moment there is comprehension of the real nature of things and of itself. On a side note, I find this very much in line with my understanding of Bhagwad Gita's 'nishkama karma', where actions done with full awareness without any desire for particular effect or satisfaction, is a liberating process. The effect can/is thus never claimed or owned, neither success or failure, happiness or sorrow. Only complete appropriate facing of facts and action is whats the demand of the moment with no resort to any explainations, desires or gathering of conclusions which all bind instead of freeing the mind from cause and effect. In short Krishnamurti says freedom is available each moment...if one is able to 'see'.

Do you believe in karma? Does karma happen to everyone?

Please read fullIt’s a real life example which was experienced by my friend.Let’s take:My friend as RanbirHis girlfriend as KatrinaAnd Katrina’s Maid as Z (she worked for them from childhood and they also treat her as Y only and gave all the things she demanded)Ranbir loves Katrina selflessly and Katrina was everything to Ranbir. As Katrina was not having any elder sister or brother so she always treated Z as her elder sister and she used to tell her each and everything about Ranbir. So one afternoon Ranbir went to Katrina’s home whose parents were out of town (Z was knowing about the arrival of Ranbir) and about after half an hour their was a sound of keys opening lock of front gate.By hearing that sound Ranbir hided between the space of window glass and grill. He covered dark coloured curtains so that he cannot be visible.Somewhat like this:There was enough space for him so he sat their quietly and started playing his favourite game “SUBWAY SURFER”.Okay so we can get back as door was opened their was Katrina’s Uncle who came to eat lunch (he never came in his entire life suddenly like this)He started to have a look on each corner of the house and was of full intention to find something but he could not get what he wanted to do so he started searching again and he finally opened the window and saw Ranbir playing subway surfer. It was a situation like thisInteresting thing was that there were only two keys of Katrina’s home one was with Z and other was with her parents. This one key was having keychain which was used by Z.Ranbir was treated very badly and got 5 slaps of Katrina’s uncle but then also he opened his mouth and said that Katrina was nowhere at fault.Katrina was fully broken as Z betrayed her after having blind trust on her.KARMA comes here:Z was engaged to a boy nearly 8–9 months ago and was very happy about her engagement. But after 3 days of this incident her engagement was broken from other side.IN SHORT:Ranbir and Katrina were in relationKatrina told this to ZZ betrayed Katrina by telling to her family. After few days Z's engagement was broken.Z has taken Katrina’s love for granted, karma has taken Z’s love for grantedDue to which I started strongly believing in “WHAT YOU GIVE IS WHAT YOU GET”ASHISH ISSRANI
