Can i feed a puppy cow's milk watered down?
i have 6 puppy's and i need to bottle feed them they are 3 weeks and the mom died so my vet said i should give them milk.should i give them cow's milk or cow's milk watered down or evaporated milk. please reply soon
Can I feed my cat dry food only?
Dry food alone is not a good diet for a cat. Cats are desert creatures by nature, and have evolved to get most of their moisture from their food (prey) and therefore have a low thirst drive. *Some* cats will make up for this water loss on an all dry diet by drinking, but that is usually not the case, unlike dogs that WILL drink enough (not that I advocate feeding a dog only kibble). Cats, especially neutered males, will benefit from an all- or mostly wet-diet. Neutered males are more prone to urinary tract infections and blockages. By feeding an all or mostly wet food diet, you will help keep your new cat hydrated and his kidneys flushed. Bear in mind both sexes of cats will benefit from this, but males especially. Raw is a great way to go, but since you are a new cat owner (and unless you have experience feeding raw already) I would ease into that after some research if you feel so inclined. As for brands, I strongly encourage you to feed brands with no grains, artificial colors or preservatives. Can my cat eat raw venison?
LOL....well he cetrainly reminds me of my dear Cyrano....his first meal (he was a staving stray) after he came home from vet was a raw potato!I am sure ur boy will be fine....may have some runny stool...if that happens, keep him off food..(goodluck) for 24hrs, and make sure he has plenty of water. Now with Cyrano because he loved people food as well, we would put down just abit along with veggies, and i know ppl going 2 comment on how utterly bad that was, Cyrano lived a very good long healthy life, the ppl food was a treat, he was fed top quality food purchased from out vet. So next time u take that venison out...put it in covered container, or just leave it in fridge, will thaw out there as well. May you have many many happy yrs w ur "wonder cat"
