How do I deal with parents who fight all the time? My parents argue over trivial things. Mom has a temper, blames people, and controls everyone. She compares us with others, saying how good they are. Dad is too stubborn to apologize, and has an ego.
There is nothing you can do about your parents' fighting. Believe me. I spent years wondering what I could do.The only thing that you can do is get some space from it. It is not likely that their relationship is going to change unless they decide to change it. It's not up to you or your siblings to change them and trying will just make it all the harder for you to disengage from this very toxic dynamic in your family.It's time to grow more independent of your family and seek more sane and peaceful relationships for your own life. These dynamics have a way of creeping up into your own relationships simply because you have been in the midst of them for years. You need to know that and begin to become as conscious as you can about thinking about and having good communication in your life.Decide how you would like to proceed in creating a different energy in your life from the one that your parents have created. Get some help for this. Over time, you will create your own set of relationships that are based on healthier, more loving values. If that becomes your goal, you will begin to beat the stress and move forward in a new direction. Just don't spend your life getting stuck in their dynamic- unless you want to create such drama in your own life.

OK so here’s the thing; Not all people who smoke pot are lazy and rude. A great many of these people use marijuana for medical purposes. Even if they don’t use it medically and it is a recreational thing, it it not likely that you will get a rude response from the perspective smoker if you ASK NICELY and EXPLAIN your reasoning. Also, it is oh so important that you explain that you are not asking that person to quit forever, just around you or your family.My father in law has back issues and has been prescribed Vicodin for the pain. Now, he is a big time hippy and everyone gives him a hard time about marijuana use (instead of the prescribed drugs). My sister in law is actually the most vocal and verbally abusive about the marijuana issue. She constantly tells her dad that she does not want to see him because he smells funny and she does not want to explain to her children (who are old enough to understand if you just take a minute to talk to them) why grandpa smells funny. He is so respectful when he goes out to visit. He NEVER smokes on their property and only uses it when he is in major pain on his visits. The thing is, I have seen him take the Vicodin. He hates the way it makes him feel and I can see a major difference in his overall comfort and usually happy personality when he has to take the Vicodin.Having said that, my sister in law has a lot of preconceived notions about the world that our family just cannot understand. She is a nice enough lady but cannot see past the nose on her face. Needless to say I try to keep my distance when she is around because she comes off so judgmental all of the time. Pageant and Pregnant...?
Okay, so here is the deal a year ago I won my counties pageant. And in about a month I have to crown the new winner. For the past year I have been married and gotten pregnant. My county isn't a huge thing, so it's not like there adamant about taking my title. But my problem is when I go to crown the next winner I don't want them to see me pregnant...what can I do. I don't know of any dresses or outfits that can cover this (no matter how much I love my child inside of me--I still can't show it, so don't think I am mean). If you have any ideas or suggestions or websites with cute outfit ideas that can cover it. Thanks.

okay so here is the deal my friend lives in ny he called me lated one night and told me that he felt drugged so i then started askin him basic simply questions that he should have been able to answer he could not answer any of em i ended up callin the police just to go check on him when they got there he started to be very baliderant with them so the arrested him he got a ticket and he got a lawyer he now wants me to talk to his lawyer i don't wanna talk to him cause the next day i found out everything he said to me was a lie and he knew he was drunk i am kinda worried that i might get suppeanad or something i have never been in trouble i live in va why would the lawyer wanna talk to me when there is a police report

It’s not for me.I prefer Oh, Mercy personally. There’s more variety in the mix I think. If Blood is a concept record then Oh Mercy is a trip to the circus.
