I am 14, 5 feet 3 inches and 98 pounds. Is this weight okay?

The most common method of determining ideal weight is the height and weight chart. These tables, guide you how much you should weigh based on your height. Although these tables are still popular, they are very ambiguous, especially to athletes and bodybuilders who carry more muscle than most people do. "Ideal weights" from height weight chart tables do not take body fat into consideration; therefore, they cannot accurately recommend how much you should weigh.

Am I too thin? I'm 5 feet tall and two inches and I weigh 86 pounds.

I'm just gonna tell you about my friend’s situation. She's also 5′2 or 5′1 and she used to weigh below 90 pounds. Her doctor told her she's underweight and needed to gain in order to be healthy. I believe she's now around 100 lbs. Can't say whether you have to be around that weight, but I personally think the 90 pounds range should be good enough. I myself weigh 90–93 lbs and I'm 5′1. My doctor doesn't say anything about me being underweight.Hope it helps a bit~ :)

I’m a 67-year-old female who weighs 90 pounds. Is this weight considered normal for my age?

Ninety pounds seems light. Assuming you are 4’10 “ or more you are on the light side. “Normal” to you means what? Are you healthy has your weight interfered with your lifestyle? If you are concerned see your MD. At your weight you are less prone to diabetes and hyper tension and diseases associated with being overweight. What about bone density?

I'm 15 years old, 5ft6 and I weigh 85 pounds. Is this healthy or not?

I was told last year at the doctors when i was around 5ft4/5 that I was underweight (I weighed around 82/83 pounds then) So is this still an unhealthy weight that I'm at now? I excersise alot however I don't eat a huge amount of healthy food, but I have a naturally fast metabolism that i inherited not only through the excersise but my genes. so am I a healthy weight etc or not?

P.S im not massively curvy, i dont have curvy hips and my bum is tiny, but yet i manage to have bigger breasts then my very curvy friend, yet im skinier then her. i really dont get this, any help? sorry its so personal but im just curious lol. thx.

If your height is 5 ft how much should you weigh?

it depends on your age, but if you go to this website, you can type it in and it will tell you everything you need to know. Trust me, tried it before.

Im 17 and weigh 190 pounds!?

one to two pounds per week is feasible, although one pound is more realistic.
So aim at more like 9-12 months.

See a dietician. It is important that you make this a lifestyle change, don't "diet". Also start exercising.

Is 90 pounds underweight for a 5'3 14 year old?

yes it is slightly underweight, but not terribly. when i was 14, i weighed in at about 75–80lbs. when i started middle school (the first real school i had ever gone to), i didn’t like my body and thought i was fat. however i soon earned the nickname “stick girl” (even though i was older than all of my classmates by at least a year). it wasn’t a mean nickname or anything, and i wasn’t bullied for it, it was just a name they gave me on account of my appearance. as the year went on, i found out that most of my classmates (besides the very short ones) weighed at least 100lbs. that being said, it does depend a lot on your natural structure—if you have denser bones and you weigh 90lbs, i’d be a little concerned if i were you. not too concerned, of course, but i would definitely pay attention to my weight. if you have less dense bones, however, that can be completely normal, just slightly light.my sole advice would be, i think, don’t overthink it, don’t worry about it. if you’re eating a fairly balanced diet, you’ll be perfectly fine :)

I am 13 and weigh 65 pounds, i am about 4'11... how can put on some wieght?

eat natural sugars such as apples, carrots, oranges...etc. Beef is a healthy way to gain weight too- steak,hamburger,roast...etc. If you exercise, focus on your muscles try to build them a little, your muscles gain weight as they re mass increases but it wont be done over night. Milk and cheese are positive carbs, don't go crazy on junk food, though at your age it really won't kill you. If some of these tips don't work then you just have a very high metabolism. Trust me i was 5'5 hundred and fifteen pounds till i was 18 then i got pregnant and my son gave me my weight. I'm not saying go get knocked up, I'm just saying that sometimes there is no way to gain weight until God decides to give it to you. I was packing away large pizzas by myself back then and still didn't gain a pound. You might just be a cute, cuddly, small individual. And if somebody besides yourself is saying your too slim, don't worry about it. Good luck Hun.
