On A Scale Of 1-10 How Unprofessional Is This And Do I Have Grounds To Be Upset

What am I on a scale of 1 to 10?

I can’t really scale it, I’m a dude who likes girls. But Ill advice you to get a new haircut that fits you, dont be afraid of gel if needed, its what i do. Try to grow beard (clean shave ur face EVERY DAY even if you dont seem to need it, so your facial hair comes out stronger and stronger). Hit the gym, and try on contact lenses, or new glasses that gives you a more squared face. Other than that, youre not plain ugly, but work on yourself internaly and externaly and i dont see why you wouldnt see improvements.

I had a bad experience with J&R Galaxies AKA bpbpusa.com, how can I most effectively tell everyone about it?

I can understand a reseller or merchant policy that does not allow the use of a shipping address other than the billing or shipping address that is associated with a particular bankcard or account (if that was the case); that’s not unusual in the least. By the way (if you haven’t already done so…,) a card holder can register at least two addresses per bankcard, for example when the card holder has a separate billing and shipping address. And when a customer’s chosen method of shipment is—for any reason—unavailable the merchant should always obtain confirmation in advance that an alternate shipment method, particularly if undisclosed, is acceptable to the customer prior to shipping an order.

The merchant simply should have cancelled or suspended your order and promptly notified you by phone, e-mail or USPS that your order had been cancelled or temporarily suspended until the shipping issues were resolved in order to comply with the merchant’s stated policies and/or Amazon’s. (A better, more responsible merchant would have a better ordering system in place to avoid such problems in the first place.) Taking into consideration your comments above and the unprofessional, poorly written e-mail that you received, you (and other consumers) are far better-off taking your business elsewhere.

Personally, I am extremely wary of purchasing from any of the third-party merchants that do business through Amazon Marketplace, eBay or any other like e-commerce service; it simply adds unnecessary complexity between consumers and merchants, especially when problems arise, and gives unwarranted credibility to less-than-scrupulous merchants or vendors.

Below I have posted a link to a relatively recent consumer news report from a well-known consumer reporter that seems appropriate for just such an occurrence. The report provides helpful suggestions, recommendations and additional resources that you can use in an effort to get the attention of merchants that you believe have treated you unfairly and/or fail to cooperate…and in the end perhaps a more satisfactory resolution to any complaint you may have (or had.)
