I am trying to understand the Isralie/Palestine conflict, can anyone help me ?
Although Im half Hebrew (on my fathers side) I do not practice Judaism, but Im just trying to understand the conflict. I have heard a LOT of propaganda coming from BOTH sides, and Im trying to see the truth. I have heard that the under palestine rule they were not a democracy and that they did not have civil rights like they do now. I don't think that this is true based from my studies, also I think the main conflict is really revolving around Solomon's Temple and who has the "right" to be there. I would greatly appreciate your answers/input but I would ask that you PLEASE be respectful to others on here, anyone who starts attacking others and starts to become an ****** will be instantly disqualified for best answer. I do realise that this is a VERY controversial issue and there is a lot of passionate views coming from both sides, I simply want a nice debate so I can figure out the TRUTH of the situation. Personally, I think this conflict is kind of ridiculous, both us (Hebrews) and Arabs come from the sons of Abrahm, so really we are brothers. (BTW I am NOT anti Muslim, I believe that the Holy Qur'an is a book of love and peace just like any other religous text, and I believe that the prophet Muhammed once said that Judaism was a "Divine Religion" and that he and a Rabbi both fought on the same side in a war, also keep in mind that I am not Jewish, I simply have a jewish background thank you.)
Did anything like the Israeli Palestine conflict ever happened before?
Nothing like this has ever happened before. Arabs invaded the lands of the natives of the People of Israel like they did to the Byzantine Christians and Egyptian Copts and tried to do in Spain and Europe.These foreign settlers from Arabia made a miscalculation in thinking that the Hebrews like the Philistines would just never come back and reclaim their ancient Land. When the civilized world finally unanimously agreed in 1920 that the land of Israel belonged to the Jewish people the Arab settlers tried to kill Jews and frighten them off like they did to the Armenians in Turkey. It had the opposite effect.Jews started fighting back and they have won every war and attempted massacre by Arab armies and terrorists ever since. In 1967 Israel won the 6th Day War and liberated Judea and Shomron(Sameria).Jerusalem was reunited to become Israels capital as it first was 3000 years ago in the time of King David. The remaining 70% of the original Jewish Homeland Jordan had been given away by Britain to one of it's Arab pals and today is mainly inhabited by Arabs who now call themselves Palestinians.Jordan is a Palestinian State. However there never was such a people as the Palestinians in history. The Arab settlers or invaders have invented a new name for themselves based on the Roman name given to the Jewish state they conquered-namely the Land of the Philistines, who had been extinct 600 years before the Romans destroyed the Jewish State. The Palestinians are thus a fake Greek people extinct for 2600 years. The Palestinian Arab claim to Israel is thus based on fraud!!! Never in history of mankind has a people had the cheek to create a conflict based on fraud ,as those Arabs who now call themselves a people,the Philistines now do.They are not bothered by the truth that the people they claim to be have been extinct for 2600 years! But they have never let honesty stand between them and what they want. By hook or by crook. And the Purpose ? Because they covet the Land of Israel.They should read the Bible and especially the Ten Commandments.
Why is Israel against Palestine state?
Control, all about control. If Palestine ever becomes a recognized state, they can then, regardless of what Israel and the US says, develop an military for their own protection, and stop the aggressions and land stealing from the Jews. They can also develop their own water, sewage, and electric systems so as not to be controlled by the Jews, and another thing that worries Israel, is they can then stop Israel from using their air space and can import whatever goods they need and desire without inspections or permission from Israel or the US. All about control and being treated like cattle. The treatment of the Palestinian people is typical of what the jews have been noted for centuries, and the reason no one in history has had any use for them, yet it is the Jews that keep crying they have been and are persecuted by everyone. First Dragon: Why the constant lies regarding Israel? They never did give Gaza, or any other part of the stolen land back to the Palestinians or anyone else, as all they did was to pull out some of their troops and guards,but still had complete check points and had full controll over everything that came in or went out of the area. The Jews would not allow even concrete, the main building material to be imported, wouldnot allow the rebuilding of destroyed homes, controlled the water, sewer, fuel and even the food supply to Gaza, plus would not allow the Palestinians any free travel in or out. And I can see by the thumbs down again, that the site is full of jews that will NEVER admit to or allow the full truth to be told as they like to play on the sympathy of the world and play the victim.
