Opinions On This Quote For A Tattoo On The Back Of My Neck

Which quote is the best for tattoo?

I am getting a quote on the back of my neck. I want a short quote and these all mean a lot to me but i just want other opinions on the quotes.....Which one do you guys like best? Thank you so much!!

1) Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.

2) Things fall apart so better things can fall together.

3) One who walks in another's tracks, leaves no footprints.

4) Dream without fear, live without limits.

5) Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.

6) Never regret something that once made you smile.

7) For every dark night, there's a brighter day.

Need help with quote tattoo placement!?

Yea if it's your first tattoo don't get it on the ribs unless you really cannot see yourself having it anywhere else because it's pretty painful.

The best thing to do is go into a studio so they can size up the letters and pick a font style so you can see what it will look like and you should have a better idea of where you can put it. It will fit on your shoulder blade but it depends on the size of the letters.

Where Should i put a small quote tattoo?

Ok so I'm debating on where to get this tattoo. The quote is "i'd rather die enormous than live dormant" Im not really sure where to put it. I currently have tattoos in my inner arm and dont try and tell me that i'll regret it because even though im young this quote has plenty of meaning. Thanks

Spine tattoo opinions?

you can either choose a long quote, that means the letters will be compressed, or a short one, where the quote will be expanded... anyhow, i for one like women who have tattoos on their back especially on the spine... girls look hotter and sexier. i saw this very pretty girl who have stars tattooed in the spine, as if the stars were her spine, and she's d*mn sexy, it made her much sexier. good luck on your plan!

Does it hurt to get a tattoo on your neck?

Ok. Tattoos hurt but not as much as people are making them out to. The back of the neck is actually an easier spot to get tattooed. If you have a good artist, you should be able to sit for 3-4 hours before the pain really starts kicking in. I am a tattoo artist, have 58 tattoos and have done 54 of them on myself. The worst place to get a tattoo is the chest or ribs. By far! The best tattoo artists make it so you do t even feel anything but a brush on the skin. There are sloppy, heavy-handed artists that we call butchers in the industry. They want the money to get you in amd out of the chair as fast as possible to get the next customer in. The key is to find a great artist that uses great machines and has a great personality to help keep your mind off of it when it does start to hurt. If you are talking about the back of the neck, the liece wont be very big and will probably take about an hour or 2 depending on the design. Women have a much higher pain tolerance for tattoos then men do so it should be a breeze. Be out of the chair before the pain starts. Ive seen a person gettin butchered last for 20 minutes on their shoulder and ive seen the same person sit for a quality artist for 9 hours on their chest with ease. Not all artists are equal. Some just have a very light and steady hand and let the ink sit right where its supposed to with no bleeding while packing in color. Others have that heavy hand and just abuse skin. Alot of people say tattoos are so painful so they look tough being able to sit through it. You have no worries til you hit that 3 hour mark. Then it gets to be dependent on the artist and pain tolerance.

Short dance quotes for a tattoo?

I'm looking in to getting a tattoo in the very near future, and having a tattoo that means something to me is very important. I've been dancing since I was 3 years old, so it is a obviously a big part of my life and something I want a tattoo of. I want a quote, that is very short, as in only a few words.

Not 'dance like nobody is watching' because so many people have that and I would like something different. :) Thanks!

Would a tattoo of a small butterfly on your back right below your neck be trashy?

Not at all. ecspecially if its a pretty unique butterfly...i personally think that is one of the best places you can get it because it can be covered if needed... go for it gurl

What does the quote, 'Just Breathe' mean to you in your opinion?

Just Breathe means if I just step back and take a deep breath, I can get through anything. I would get it on a part of my body that I could see easily to remind me to just relax and know that everything is going to be ok. Also, be careful with getting it tattooed in chinese (unless you are chinese) because the language gets misinterpreted quite often with tattoos.

Does it hurt to get a tattoo on your spine?

My first tat was on my spine and it was indeed painful.  While not the worst spot, remember the spine houses your nervous system, so there is pain.  The oddest part was that at points my artist would go over parts directly on my spine, and it would send shooting pain down one of my arms.  Weird, yes, but not as bad as getting a tattoo on the inside of my upper arm.  I think my spine tattoo hurt as bad as it did because I was 16 at the time.  I don't think it would be as bad now, as an adult.Artists will let you take a breather if you're in too much pain.  Don't act tough, take the break.  Bring some juice to keep your sugar up.  Take anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen before you get in the chair.  Not aspirin, that's a blood thinner and can make you bleed more.  Focus on your breathing, and bring a friend for moral support.
