Ottawa U Vs Brock Vs Carleton For Accouting

I have offers from both Carleton University and University of Ottawa for my Master's in Computer Engineering. Which one should I take?

I have been in UO for study computer science.I would say both are same. Cuz the master education in UCarleton and UO are the same. The graduate computer science school joint together some years ago. Also in the bachelor courses, if u could not register the course in UO because of the time error u can just learn it in CU, same happens in CU.However, if u want to live in a more convenient environment, OU would be a better choice. Also, CU’s campus is really big and that is a backside in Winter Time! Just imagine you hold your computer and on the way to lecture in a -35°C winter. The wind is too strong to open your eyes, but u still so far form the lecture building. But in UO, there is a bus stop just infront of the computer science building.

Which university is the best for computer science, Carleton University, Concordia University or the University of Ottawa in Canada?

I cannot comment on Carleton since I have not attended that school. I have, however, attended both University of Ottawa and Concordia University for Computer Science. The city of Ottawa cannot compare to Montreal so we will only look at my experiences at the schools and not the cities.Personally, I found the course sequence much more challenging at UOttawa then Concordia, which for me was really rewarding. If you don’t know what you want to do when you start the computer science program I would recommend UOttawa. The curriculum is much broader (in a good way) and encompasses many different aspects of Computer Science giving you a wider range of knowledge in computing and math. Many of the electives at Concordia are required courses at Uottawa. Concordia, however, is a lot more specialized, if you know you want to do game development, or another one of Concordia’s Specialized programs I would choose Concordia.I found the professors at Concordia to be better than those at Uottawa. However, in the end, I would recommend Uottawa and from personal experience, I believe Uottawa produces more well-rounded and better overall programmers. Just be prepared for some “interesting” professors.

Which is better in terms of business programs, Ottawa U or Carleton U?

Telfer School of Management (University of Ottawa) is a more reputed business program with international recognition. Another plus with Telfer School of Management is the optional COOP program by which enrolled students do 3–4 paid internships of 4 months each.

Should I choose Carleton University for financial management or Brock University for accounting?

I studied mathematics at Carleton U, however I noticed that Carleton University definitely has a great accounting program. I am not familiar with Brock’s program, however in my opinion, if they are indeed both great universities for Accounting, than (in my opinion) you should pick whichever university offers your a better scholarship, betters living, social conditions…….I chose Carleton U because I was already living in Ottawa and I didn’t want to move away from home (ie. pay extra $$ for rent).

Should I go to the University of Calgary, SFU, Carleton, Ryerson, or Brock for a business program?

Go where you can afford. None of these schools has any special advantage over the other.Besides, I don’t ask my Bankers, business partners or clients where they got their degrees. If they are competent I can care less.Where you get your degree only matters for the first job after you graduate.

Which is the best college/university program in Ontario, Canada to prepare for CPA (Chartered Professional accountant)?

Thanks for A2A.I recently came across this program in Carleton University, Ottawa. Its called MAcc- Masters in Accounting. It is a two year program and at the end of it you’ll be directly eligible for CFE and will have a masters degree as well.Usually people with international degrees have to give pre-requisite exams too. You can check it on their website.Good luck!

Which one should I go to, as I got accepted by 4 universities for their master’s program, McMaster University (economics), University of Victoria (global business), Dalhousie University (electronic commerce), and Brock University (MBA ISP)?

Only you can make hat decision. Cost comes first although your major is another very large concern. and to that add geography and distance to school, shopping and such. You may have choice with student residences on campus or can you live at home or with a relative? Students are often noisy and play loud music. There are a a great many things will be needed if you are moving into bare walls. Furnished apartments often have antiquated furnishings. You may wanrt your own bed. Mattresses should be covered with a bedbug proof cover. They problem is endemic in North America. It may take while to decide. I hope you are least previsit your two top choices. After all you may be there four or five years. Shoot for honours if you can. A BA is really not very useful. It us ed to be in Scotland that only an M A was offered. It is much easier to back down than to jump up
