Out Of School Need Help

I hate school. I want to drop out. i need help?

i dont know what to do anymore. I want to succeed in life but i cant deal with school. i've never been so unhappy. waking up everyday is never a good feeling. i hate school and i need help
im a 15 year old girl, a sophomore. i get good grades, A B average occasional C's. I'm in that "in crowd" part of the "cool kids" i get the invites to the partys. I'm part of "that group" but it doesnt make a difference. none of my friends are "my friends". theyre just there. like props. we use each other to make ourselves look good. we have "friends". but we dont have -friends- you know ? everyone gossips about everyone and they know it. but they dont care. I come home and have no one to talk to. all of my sisters moved out and my only brother is just 10. my parents work more than enough to maintain what he have. my life feels like a trained routine. go to school, do homework, chores and sleep. repeatedly everyday. i play soccer mondays wednesdays and saterdays, which is a relief. i love it. but i barely have time for it.with all the pointless homework i get, theres never time for anything else. i love to play guitar and sing and read and write but i Never have time for it. Since school started in august, i havent learned anything new on guitar. havent wrote any new songs or poems. havent read any books. not even a magazine. i dont have time. the one day that my parents have off of work a week, i do nothing but spend time with them. which leaves me crammed with work the next day. POINT IS, im so sick of school. i hate it more than anything ive ever disliked. its making me so unhappy. i cry all the time and im mad at everything. i want to just quit, but it feels like thatll be the end of my life. PLEASE, help me. i need some suggestions. some advice. anything. school resumes from our five day weekend tomorrow and im already upset about it. its got me in tears. i dont know what to do anymore..

I need help averageing out my grade for school???

**51.8 out of?? or is 51.8 a percent?

points earned / points possible (assuming your assignments are not weighted)

636.84/ (740+possible points on 51.8 assignment)

if 51.8 is a percent then 636.84 / 840 = 75.8%

******

with your extra info:

your points earned = 575.04+29+10 = 614.04

points possible = 740+56 = 796

your grade = points earned/points possible
= 614.04/796 = 77.1

(this is still assuming your final was not weighted)

Is it hard to reach out to a teacher when you need help for school work in Connections Academy?

I’m in connections academy, I can answer. For the most part it depends on the teacher. Some teachers reply really quickly, and others take longer. However, they almost always respond within 48–72 hours, tops. More often, they reply within 1–12, depending what time you ask. Asking in the morning usually means a response by noon, asking after noon usually results in an answer that evening, and asking after evening usually results in a reply the next morning. It’s not hard at all to reach out, connections academy has a built in E-mail program.

People..HELP! ways to get out of school for the rest of the week?

i have missed some schools so my mom won't take anymore nonsense. i have come up many scenarios, but nothing works. this needs to be "sneaky" and "secret". best answer gets 10 points! and i really dislike schools for many serious reasons by the way.

I'm about to be kicked out of school. What should I do now?

First — I am so sorry this has happened to you. Second, chin up - I know it’s hard but try. And third -and the most hardest - understand it it not an “early life crisis”, it is life. The worst of the worst will happen to you, it has no time clock and many times no warning, and even worse than that - you’ll have little support to get you through. Now with those in mind, it’s time to buckle up. You did have some warning this would happen however, what you are going through clouded your sense of priority. It happens, stop beating yourself up. Time to set up a priority list, a short one —- and start movin’!I don’t know anyone who hasn’t had hard times through a Semester (or two!). Universities know this and it is vitally important that whatever your circumstance is, that you deal with it by going to a doctor, landlord or whatever caused this and go to your Student Advisor (or whomever your University provides, every University/College has one), get an emergency appointment to explain the deal. Yes, your Professors may fail you at this late date-so buck up for that since you didn’t talk to them while your situation was occurring, you should have and they could have helped, BUT the University can help you repeat the classes/take different classes, so this will not hurt your situation too badly. It will KEEP you in the University, which from what you wrote, will help you KEEP your job. There will be MORE crises in your life. Really bad ones. This one is to help you face one of them, work on ways to get through it, LEARN FROM IT, and move on to the next crisis. Bottom line, learn and store information for the next one. Don’t give up, don’t feel like its the end, get help and — fight for what you know is right. You’ll stumble, it’s okay but…move on. Good Luck to you.

How do I drop out of high school?

Go see your guidance counselor and tell him/her that you are dropping out.  It is that easy. They of course will try to talk you out of your decision because they understand the realities of life without a HS diploma.  They also understand that a GED is NOT the same as graduating from HS nor will it be viewed that way by potential employers.  A GED is a piece of paper that says for one day you were able to pass a test.  A HS diploma is a piece of paper that says for 4 years of your life you were able to show dedication to your "job" and successfully complete that which you were asked to do.  Not really the same is it? Finally they will be forced to shrug their shoulders since there is nothing they can do to make you stay.  They will listen to your story of how YOU are going to be the one to beat the odds and have a successful life and career without having graduated HS.  Sure there are people who have done this they will concede.  One out of every 100 or 1000 makes a good life for themselves, but sadly most end up in jobs where they are doing menial labor with little prospect for advancement. I am not saying you cannot pull off your plan.  Rather I am saying that you are but one more student who thinks they know more than everyone else about how real life works.  No, school is not for everyone and a diploma is no more a guarantee of a successful career than a GED.  It is just that statistically (and by a very wide margin) people who don't graduate from HS rarely find the success in life that those who have graduated do. It is your life.  Live it as you choose.  But I would strongly advise you to reconsider, as I am sure many others will.  Understand there is no getting back your youth, and many of the decisions you appear set to make are in many ways irreversible.

How do you drop out of school at the age of 14?

Hi, high school drop out here. I just want to clarify that, depending what country you are from, you cannot drop out until you are at least eighteen years of age. I think you can drop out earlier with parental consent, but I'm not sure of the age restraints with that. It all depends on where you live, unfortunately. However, I was not eighteen when I dropped out. I dropped out at sixteen by moving from public school to online school, and then just never having the motivation to finish the program they enrolled me into. Of course, I feel bad. 1200USD was thrown down the drain because I just wasn't mentally able to cope with deadlines or other people, bottom line. Most importantly, though, is your reasoning for wanting to drop out. Are you being bullied? Are you being bullied by a teacher? Do you just not understand the course work? Or is it something else, like anxiety or just not being able to function around people? None of these reasons are anything to be shameful for. If you need help, it's okay to ask instead of immediately trying to drop out. No one will shame you for admitting that you're having trouble and you need help. It's perfectly normal to have these doubts.I need you to trust me when I say life will be 100 times better with a high school diploma. I have a husband who works full time and provides for both of us, but that being a safe life style is very hard to achieve. Especially if you live alone when you're older, it will be hard for you to find any sort of work. Please stay in school!!
