Because certainly such terrible, ungoverned anger and systematic psychological oppression could not be part of a holy tradition, else the tradition could not be considered holy.I am certain that there are Persian Muslim men who govern their tongues, are slow to anger, are not arrogant, respect their wives and daughters as equal to themselves and their sons, serve their wives and families with a servant’s heart, and love their wives as much as they love themselves. I have simply not yet met one. However, this type of man would always be desireable amongst American women.
