How to build a photography website step by step?

Build a Photography Website in easy 4 step.1. First, you need to decide whether you want a blog or an informational website. With a blog, you are continuously adding more and more pictures, and with an informational website, you are giving a few examples, prices, and some information about yourself. The informational website's job is to give the customer a picture of what your skill and purpose is. This is definitely more for people looking to earn money.2. Next, you need to create an account at any online portfolio builder .we recommended on of the best Photography portfolio website builder  is http://www.pixpa.com3. Once you have successfully created an account at  any of these websites or others that you may have come across, you need to choose a good photography style theme. It is important to make the pictures "stick out" when it comes to making the viewers excited about them.4. After you have finished about published the website for all to see, use email, social networks, and talking to spread the word about your new website. Good luck!

What websites can teach basic photography?

To tell you the "basic" truth, no website can teach you Photography unless you venture out to yourself  for taking the Photos. As a beginner, when you start taking photos for yourself, you will face many hurdles and THAT'S WHEN you learn to overcome those difficulties. As an example, I remember when I started Photography, all my photos (well 90%) of them were blurry and I wondered why the heck are they blurry even though I have dialed in the correct settings. Then slowly, it dawned to me that increasing ISOs increases the shutter speed of my camera when I am in Aperture Priority mode and it reduces the blur in the images... So I always started cranking up my ISOs until I get a good shutter speed...But then, cranking up ISOs introduced a lot of noise (grains) in my Image...So you get the idea, it's a chain of events and every link of the chain teaches you something. Yes, theoretical knowledge is essential, but then that's where it ends: they are just theories. When you venture out to take some shots, you will experience in hand what is written in that theory. I find this website very informative, and I always recommend a beginner this website: Bernie’s Better Beginner’s Guide to Photography for Computer Geeks Who Want to be Digital Artists. His writing is in for a Layman, and explains everything well.. .But as I said earlier, go out and experiment. That's when you know, what you are lacking and what's there in for a gain.

How do I create traffic to my photography website?

Same way you would to any other website - By providing great/amazing content. This is almost a universal rule when it comes to site making and promotion. SEO won’t help you much if your site and content are crap. If your pages are poorly optimized and your load times suck.Once you’re sure of the quality of your site and content that you’re trying to provide, then you should move on to the promotion and advertisement. This is where SEO comes into play - Search Engine Optimization is a great way to boost your site visits. So is Digital and Social Media Marketing. Do some ad campaigns, create pages on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter etc. Engage with the audience. Stuff like that. You can also utilize tools like the one babylon traffic offers to an extend, but make sure to use it in a controlled environment and not to overuse it.Cheers.

I'm having trouble writing a photography website bio, help?

I don't know what to say about myself or how to make it sound professional. I'm an amateur artistic photographer (amateur being the key word), so I don't have any published works I can write about or anything. I'm currently working on many more photos to load onto the site, but here is what is there so far. www.angelphotography.net
I am paying for services to build me a proper site from what I have there, but they need words before they can finish.

So confused about what Photography website to use? (4ormat, Wix???) HELP?

I'm having an issue on what I want to use. I have 4ormat right now but I want something a bit better than that. What is another good site to use? I was looking into Smugmug and Zenfolio, also Wix but I'm so confused on what will be the best for me.

I do photography and videography so I want something that will stand out when people go on it! If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks
