Physic Problem Solve This.

How do you solve this Physics problem?

a) You just need the force to make it move. Fsmax = UsFn.
Fn is equal to Fw which is mass * a. So you have
(0.700)(52.)(9.8) = 356.72 N

b) 52 kg * 9.8 m/s.s = 509.6 this you are finding the Fnormal = to Fw

No since there is constant acceleration = 0 .Because it is O Fnet = 0
To find Fpushing force 509.6 * .480 = 244.608 N

This is a webassign homework. I wonder what school you go to.

How can i solve this physics problem?

A(n) 596 kg mass is sliding on a horizontal
frictionless surface with a speed of 11 m/s
when it collides with a 90 kg mass initially at
rest, as shown in the figure. The masses stick
together and slide up a frictionless track at
60◦ from horizontal.
The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s2 .
What is the speed of the two blocks imme-
diately after the collision? Answer in units of
m/s.
To what maximum height h above the hor-
izontal surface will the masses slide? Answer
in units of m.

How do i solve this physics problem?

The energy
m*g*h=work done by friction +.5*m*v^2
plug in the numbers
24*(9.81*5-.5*2.8^2)=work done by friction

1083 J

How do I solve this? A basic physics problem?

I was wondering if anyone could please assist me in understanding and solving the following problem. I have no idea where to even start or what sort of methods to use. I just started college physics and don't want to start not knowing how to solve the early problems.:
a. Vector E has a magnitude 17.0 cm and is directed 27.0* counterclockwise from the +x axis. Express it in unit-vector notation.
b. Vector F has magnitude 17.0 cm and is directed 27* counterclockwise from the +y axis. Express it in unit-vecotr notation.
c. Vector G has a magnitude of 17.0 cm and is directed 27* clockwise from the -y axis. Express it in unti-vector notation.

Any and all help will be much appreciated!!

Physics Problem Solving?

Need help from the gurus to solved this problem about Rectilinear motion

1) a bullet weighing 15 gms, is shot into a suspended block of wood weighing 2985 gms, and gives it a velocity of 200cms./sec.; find the velocity of the bullet.

2) a bullet weighing 1 oz, is shoot into a suspended block of wood weighing 18 lbs. and 11 oz. and gives it a velocity of 6 ft./sec. What is the combined momentum of the bullet after impact? What is the momentum of the bullet before impact? Thence find the velocity of the bullet before impact.

Need to solved this, my teacher give this to me as a project.
Please help me and also kindly give also the used computation in this problem.

thanks

How do I solve this simple physics problem?

A stone is thrown horizontally at 20 m/s from the top of a cliff 63 m high. How fast is it moving the instant before it hits the ground?

The answer is 40 m,/s but how do I get that? I have a test tomorrow and don't understand how to do this. Please show which equations you would use.

Thanks :)

How do I Solve this Class 9 Physics Problem?

Work done dW= F.ds; F being the force vector and s being the displacement vector.It is a scalar quantity (being a dot product). In this problem, the cart always moves in the direction of force applied, so angle between the two vectors = 0 radians.Hence, W= (F)(s), s being the total path length covered by the body during its motion.Total path covered = 20 + 3×π×5 + 20 = (40 + 15π) m.W= 8×(40+15π) = (320 + 120π) JW= 696.991118J ≈ 697J

How do I solve physics problems faster?

PracticeI am sorry if this sounds like an extremely generic advice which everyone gives but there is a reason for its ubiquity. Doing anything fast is a skill. Skills are always perfected via practice. For example, learning addition of numbers is not a skill, it's gaining knowledge. Learning addition of numbers fast is a skill.Try finding the sum of these numbers,6+7+2+5+5+4+8+3 = ?If you have learnt addition of number recently, you will take some time to do this. But since we have added sequence of numbers from our childhood, we can see a pattern here. In our mind once we restructure this sequence like this, it becomes easier to add.6+4+7+3+8+2+5+5 = 40This idea of converting them to multiple of 10's comes with practice. Same is the case with JEE problems, speed comes with looking for patternsin a similar set of problems. You learn to look for such patterns by solving a vast amount of problems. So practice. All the best!
